@@amirshulman4676 ummm.. not really..? I mean, I never saw it that way. Chara & Frisk's reactions and actions depend on the player, whether they decide to be a murderer or a pacifist. Chara isn't evil unless the player MAKES them evil, and there's some good evidence brought up in a video stating that. :/ No hate tho. I just wanted to get that off my chest xD
@@jesse3692 I honestly appreciate your opinion but the thing is that I consider a character good or bad based on what it's creator ment him to be, and based on what we see in the game Chara is obviously supposed to be evil, reflecting our own mistakes in the Genocide run. Damn, even in the pacifist run we hear that Chara wasn't the greatest. Of course it doesn't mean they're evil, but from an aspect of a game design- why would Toby made this part about Chara at the end of pacifist route, besides for foreshadowing her presence in the Genocide run?
@@amirshulman4676 when I look at it from your pov, that makes more sense. Chara _is_ a reflection of your own mistakes- but what she was before, a lot of people take Asriel's "Chara wasn't the greatest person" and try to morph it into "Chara's was an evil murderer". It's not that Chara did the genocide run, but that they killed you at the end of it to sort of show you- and yeah, that's a lot of foreshadowing. People get different points and opinions about it tho, one of them being she was always there in pacifist and then killed you at the end of the genocide route because she thought you were a nice person and then you turned around and killed everyone she cared about. Let's say the player is a really nice person and they only ever do neutral or pacifist runs. Chara *wouldn't* be there in the genocide run- because there is no timeline with the genocide run. However if the player does do a genocide run, then yeah, that is the most likely reason that was said, but I think a lot of fans spark up the wrong discussions about that and that's why the fandom is divided by a bunch of theories lol.

I'm not a huge fan of having askers in the story, but I can let it slide in this case, as this is a great depiction of Chara not being evil as every other UT artist does, while still giving them traits that make them the "not the greatest person" that Asriel described, even going as far as giving them some bullying tendancies! That's how you make a 3D CHARActer!😊
Not EVERY artist depicts Chara as evil, many depict her as being either misunderstood or repentant for a previous Genocide run. Like in one fan-game where she's actually convinced to do a pacifist run by a more evil Frisk taunting her about Asriel, so that she can save him.
I know not EVERY artist depicts Chara as evil; it's just that this is the only one I could find that doesn't, though the one you mentioned does sound intriguing (and pretty sad).

It’s canon that the dog takes it again sometime later. Calling Toriel with the Annoying Dog in your inventory makes a ringing in your pockets. The dog ate it, and Toriel probably didn’t get it back until she decided to intervene on the Asgore fight.

@@sundaeanimations Yea and btw the player CAN be good too, it's just that most players choose Genocide, I've played undertale before, I did the pacifist route (though I didn't actually get to finish the route, since I was playing on my big brother's computer, and he doesn't really like me playing games on his computer that aren't Half-life or doom)

This is how you know that Chara is just so much OLDER than Frisk. If I had to guess, I'd say that Chara is 13-ish and Frisk is like 8. Anyways, I do like the comic. I honestly just wanna go in the comic and talk with Chara and follow Frisk with her. This is a very good piece of art and shows how Chara would feel, instead of Frisk.

Once Before I asked Toriel how to exit the ruins, I went down stairs and she said something like “You don’t wanna play down here.” And she held my hand and brought me back upstairs, so I went downstairs again to annoy her and every time she said something different. I stopped until she said the same thing.
man, I love it when Chara isn't portrayed as a psychotic murderer. It always makes her character so much more interesting. Sure, it can be funny comedy wise, but when it's not entirely supposed to be comedy, it's always better when Chara is normal.
