This version of Chara and Frisk are fascinatingly unique. Their relationship is very wholesome.
This is the kind of emotional wholesomeness that keeps my heart/emotions warm.
I like this depiction of Chara. They're a bit distrusting, but they're not as much of a wreck as other versions. And they feel just as bad about the geno run as Frisk.
Yeah, while I’ve seen a Chara that feels bad for the Geno run as much as Frisk, it’s Nice to see those instead of the murder child that kills for power or wanting destruction or stuff like that.
needless to say it's a welcome change. most comics just make chara down right evil for no reason but this comic doesn't.

Well, they should feel no regret, as they are soulless
But their righteous and just nature does still mean that in fact they are against it, and know killing is wrong
They are soulless, and can be dragged into any bs with relative ease, but they aren't evil in themselves
(Soulless Asriel is in fact ten times worse)
I love this. Sans not remembering the whole genocide fight really makes things interesting and complicated for the protagonist
Uh, it's kinda obvious he wouldn't remember. The whole "Sans remembering previous timelines" thing is fanon. He knows what Resets are and that alternate timelines exist but he doesn't remember em. He only has reports that talk about Resets and Timelines.
He only knows what a Player did or how many times they die during the Geno fight by reading their expressions, as he said.
@@ManicFiction I knew that sans couldn’t remember but there’s been a lot of Sans remembering timelines than him just not remembering them. I’ve seen too many of those fanon dubs so yeah

people tend to forget that they are children
That's what they are in the end, many people tend to forget that, or intentionally make them somewhat older(I don't blame them, if it's not done for shipping). Just scared kids.
And one of them has the power to change the whole goddamn world. Sounds really good for them, doesn't it? Actually, they both decide, but who cares.

I love this comic’s depiction of characters not really remembering the resets. Also love how it specifies that Sans is observant and not outright that he remembers everything, it’s a lot more in line with the original character and I love that a lot

they nailed the portrayals of sans and chara, with sans not actually knowing resets and reading it on frisk’s expression and chara not being genocidal and just a kid that wanted to keep a friend safe

*The fact Frisk is so pessimist in this, makes me have a connection to Frisk, as I'm also a person who thinks negatively, always scared when deciding to do something, thinking it will only lead to bad outcomes.*
Yeah, but this doesn't suit Frisk well, as that's in fact a type of behaviour that's usually exhibited by individuals with insufficient to no determination, like me
Frisk should be like: "whatever it is, i'll take it", othervise they risk losing everything including Chara(i suppose), if they fall too low, and the DT level won't be enough for Chara to stay conscious
@@narrativeless404 You gotta understand the bond Frisk wants to keep with Sans, she doesn’t want to do resets anymore, so she’s afraid to confess, to Sans, also fear is a normal human trait, even for humans with or without determination, because she cares about her friends too much to jeopardize it by confessing the genocide runs.

Also, Fear is not doing very good job for a one which's trait is Determination(some UT fans do still argue about Frisk' soul trait not being Dt tho)
Like, eny feeling except the one associated withthe trait is going to weaken them, let alone Fear, which isn't just the odd feeling, but it's going to mess up the constant baseline level of Determination, which is even worse(almost no other feelings do it)
Like, DT Extractor can't take away all of your DT
But Fear can, and WILL if a one is just going to surrender instead of fighting it
Frisk is not a Horrortale Aliza, who would benefit from being afraid, because that's her trait

@@John_Dory_The_Leader Hey i'm the creator and yes, you understood what I was going for ;w; My Frisk here is very young and while she still has her DT, she is still afraid to hurt Sans and ruin the bond between her and him. As you said, it's a normal human trait. Plus the fact that she's missunderstood and lost, at least in this universe. Thank you for your sweet comments 🙏🏼❤️ (also, the reason i use the terms they/them is so the people of any gender can relate to both characters)
You know...
It's a breath of fresh air to see sans not knowing stuff and chara not being a goddamn psychopath. That stuff is so cliché i want to unalive myself each time i see that stuff again...
But in this comic, most, if not all, is close to what they are depicted in canon. Sans can't remember any previous timelines, that cliché is false, actually, nothing in canon tells us he can do that. Chara is reasonable, they are not completely murderous and actually feel as bad about resets and geno run as frisk. They even have a good reason for actually starting the shitshow, since, you know, they only tried to protect frisk from others, but ended up, well, doing stuff they shouldn't have done.
Author did a really good job at writing characters, as i said earlier, they are wery similar to what they in canon are.

I'm usually not a fan of Comic Dubs but this Channel NEVER disappoints. The fact theyve stuck through it and are still producing Undertale Content makes me so happy. The fandom is going nowhere and is still creating new things. Every comic they dub feels genuine and you can tell that they actually care about the comic and characters they voice. I can fully immerse myself into the Universe the author/artist has created thanks to the amazing work the VA's put in. I will definetly be binging through all the Dubs I've missed as I slowly get back into the fandom. Thank you so much for youe amazing work and doing your part and using your platform in keeping this fandom alive!!! ♥️

Asriel just felt 'Chara wasn't a good person' because they hated and wanted him to wipe humanity. But if humans were bad to Chara and later they learned this same humanity locked down Monsters who are literally made of compassion and magic... They got pissed. I would be pissed too. Especially if I was still a kid. Wanting something unpleasant to disappear is a very childish thing, after all.

It’s good to get back to serious and wholesome comics. Love the writing on this one. Kinda interested to see when the whole monsters stealing the human soul story bit comes back, But concerned Frisk can’t handle that too much right now.

Wow i never thought of Chara as a caring person but now i do.
Tbh without the player and stuff for chara to talk to the end of a geno run this setting makes sense because in reality frisk is a kid who fell down a hole who probably trusted Flowey and in turn from that trust got attack and nearly killed, so they would most likely be terrified by every monster thinking that they prob are tricking them and chara most likely got fueled by frisks fear to protect them since unlike them frisk got attacked

The portrayal of Chara being the way they are is so much more accurate to the game itself instead of just the “no it’s not the players fault it’s the evil Chara’s fault!”. I so love that about this comic, that it recognizes Chara did not originally intend to harm anyone when their soul connected with Frisk’s. Good work!

So I forgot to mention this, but as soon as I saw the cover, the first thing to pop in my head, was Lilo and Stitch. It was mostly because of the way Frisk's nose was made.

Frisk and Chara dealing with the horrors they’ve witnessed and the atrocities the player made them commit
We need the next part! Does Frisk tell Sans what happened? What happens when Sans finds put? Do the monsters get free? I'm dying to know!!
In this storie, frisk is obviously a child and not good at hiding what he's really thinking. Sans figures out what is going on, and sans associates it with the anomalies his machines have been picking up on. Once frisk realizes sans is more interested in escape than revenge, they do a true pacifist run.
That is how I would end it
