I got my Supra to go 43 mph with a brushless motor, 11.1-volt battery, and optional pinion gear 22. This car is so fun I drive it every day.
I put the VXL setup in my Vette and also put the actual VXL gearing in it also. On a 3s Lipo it's going over 60mph. You want more speed, you need to get the VXL gearing.
Great vid good job, I have a Supra it's still stock with only a couple minutes of use but I think you guys just gave me some motivation, great team keep it up👍👍..

I put Supra Tires/Wheels on my Brushless Corvette and have gone over 60mph and have had NO issues with the tires at all

2.0 4 Tec I ran Brushless Castle 100,000 Rpm with Sidewinder 2 on 3S .She hit 110 mph never came back 😂

I raced my supra 3.0 vs my friends hotrod 3.0 and his tires made all the difference. I wonder if you can change out the tires because he would stop on a dime and the supra would spin out of control. This car needs more tread on the tires.

Not without paying because the brushless motor is way more valuable
Question hopefully you can answer I upgraded my supera to brushless as well. My motor is spinning so fast it melts the gear have any solution to my problem?
You could try changing the gear mesh to something more loose so that its not spinning so fast, but if that doesn’t work, you could possibly add a Torque Biasing Center Drive which has a metal gear. We are not sure if this would work, as we have not had any good weather to take it out yet, but it is worth a shot! Hope this helps!
A couple years ago I was drag racing a 2.0 and had the same problem when I was reaching for more torque
I was running a 8700kv motor with 40/55 gears and kept melting teeth like a fondue fountain
I found that the flex in the drive shaft was causing the meshing to change slightly upon launch but not during inspection
I tried replacing the motor mount with a slick sliding one and everything else including going to all steel gears which only made it loud and bought me more time before one would be stripped
I had changed all the bearings in an attempt to get rid of the perceived friction to no avail
I finally noticed that the drive shaft was flexing. Yup the upgraded steel drive shaft was flexing on launch
So I pulled out the old bearings and found one that fit the drive shaft and the rear output
Voila it was a 7 minute fix for a 6 month problem
