The problem is this, Indian scriptures are fictional art work at best, much like any fictional art, there is a fight between good and evil with embedded morals and ethics. But the problem here is, the entire culture and economy is built on fictional art, it is less to do with reality. Do we see monkey people?, do we see snakes transform into humans, do we see people change their size, do we see flying bird men, do we see any of those fantastic fictional things in real life?, we clearly don't. What would you think when you see a temple for Harry Porter with his statue sitting on a levitating broom, it's fictional. Man mused in his creation, man wants meaning, so these fictional arts were created. But, the madness turns to insanity when one does not distinguish from fiction to reality.. Such insanity is a plague in India, they spend billions on temples, they have casts that are based on who is knowledgeable about this fiction. I truly admit that the stories are really interesting, much like Harry Porter on steroids. But please do not turn this into insanity. If any story that has no grounding in reality, it is a fiction and nothing wrong with it as long as one recognizes it as fiction.
