I have been looking for a video like this for 3 years. There are tons of team defense videos and defensive drill videos, but this is first individual defense video I have seen. It makes so much sense now. I coach 2u and have zero lacrosse experience. I finally understand what "get topside and push down the alley" means. Thank you, thank you, thank you! My kids are about to get their first good d coaching thanks to this video.

I love these videos from POWLAX. I didn't know anything about lacrosse a couple years ago. I panicked a little when I was asked to coach our high school boys team. POWLAX saved my life, so to speak. Because of POWLAX, my team has two undefeated regular seasons and a championship tournament win. You guys are awesome!

This is great! When it comes to off ball, I think a good , slightly more advanced topic might be: when your man is at X, how should you change your positioning as the ball swings around and eventually gets adjacent and then ultimately is passed to him? Thanks

If they go towards the bottom hand should you go for the cross check?

on off ball defense bro see should you always have your back to the goal? 10:53

Not necessarily, it depends on where the play you're guarding is. If they are behind the goal here, you would face the goal. Another key to consider is whether you are facing your teammates and will be able to communicate with them
