The number of vehicle registrations and deliveries are different. Vehicle registrations reflect when a vehicle is officially registered and owned by a consumer after purchase or lease, while deliveries indicate when a vehicle is physically handed over from the manufacturer to a dealership or directly to a consumer. These figures can differ due to market conditions, sales plans, and the timing of registration by buyers. Therefore, NIO's vehicle delivery numbers can typically be 1,000 to 500 units higher than the number of vehicle registrations. For these reasons, there was a significant difference between NIO's vehicle delivery and registration numbers in June.
Thank you for the timely analysis, it's very good ! Awesome work Mr. Odd, in you Engineering career, you need to work on how to build, fabricate, create, Invent, Patience and sell it, you would be a BILLIONAIRE ! Thank you SR.💰💰💰💰💰💰

I recently sold half my tech stock holdings due to all-time highs, leaving me with $400k. Should I invest in ETFs now or wait for a market correction considering potential inflation?
From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
Love your videos Mr Odd, I really do! Who cares about weekly numbers (insurance or deliveries)? What matters are the monthly sales numbers, seasonly adjusted. Simple! Far too many variables in the weekly numbers. How about focusing on what the NIO is doing in relation to marketing, R&D, management, cost mitigation etcetera. Keep it up. Australia welcomes NIO. Can't wait for them to arrive.
Thank you for the nice words. I just wanted to point out some of the ways to analyze data. I am not in favor of Nio's expansion except in the UAE for now
Nio sold 3,400 units in week two last month as well when they broke their monthly delivery record. If you actually look at the history of Nio 3,400 sales in week two is in their top 5% best week twos I don’t know why people would be upset with this. Remember these are insurance registered numbers not sales so week one many of those registered cars where actually sold in the last week of June. I like looking at the insurance numbers but just take the numbers as a general guide that’s all it is. No reason to conclude anything other than that Nio is on track for another record breaking month.
Νice video. Clever way of thinking. In any case , Nio seems to be one of the winners in the EV industry. If someone is long I believe that he will be happy (after years) If someone is short , every couple of weeks , will have another opinion about Nio. It is not only Nio as a company. Mostly is the trade war between east and west. But most of the times ,the common interest prevails.
@@mohammh I wouldn't narrow it down to profitability. Partnership with American company, significant reduction in losses. Or investment by large American institution....can do the job
This is the first time that a drop of 38% in weekly EV insurance registration numbers shows an increase of 5.8% in share price. Looks like the institutional investors are back.
A lot of analysis taking into account your stance that weekly registration were pointless just a few weeks ago. Better to concentrate on monthly figures
@@TheOddInvestor That's not good. Then it will be harder for this stock to rally. The question is "Will it ever be able to go above $10? or It will keep bouncing between $4-$5 range. I hard if this company is not profitable this stock will remain into these range.

Many new tra-ders struggle without proper guidance. I found success through James Clark's expertise.

Celebrating a $30k stock portfolio today from a $6k start. Investing wisely has given me time for family and future plans.

Really good stuff Odd. Thanks for that perspective.
You are welcome. It is really important for retail investors to understand the various techniques in analyzing data. This is just a flavor.
All makes sense. I'm looking forward to 3rd Q earnings and management guidance. If NIO executes as I hope, the stock should start heading higher.
Unfortunately the stock is controlled by shorts for now

Totally agree with you. It is best to stick with fundamentals. Stay long Nio
Can we get get rid of shorts or Naked Shorts someday?
Shorts and naked shorts look for opportunities. They will leave when the opportunity does not present itself anymore
@@TheOddInvestor I think that will happen only when NIO is profitable or atleast break even.

Love your analysis Mr. Odd, just curious why we should use 4.3 to get the monthly number?
4 weeks do not make a month.
365 days a year make 52.14 weeks
52.14 weeks make 12 months
52.14/12 = 4.34 weeks.

True. That is why it is best to stick with fundamentals and stay long.
Thank you 🙏
You are welcome
Oh no! Hurry up and sell, so I can buy the dip 😂
Why not do the calculation of first 2 weeks of both months? 🤔
Because not every company discussed ships to Europe
A lot of analysis taking into account your stance that weekly registration were pointless just a few weeks ago. Better to concentrate on monthly figures
As I said, the intent is to show different ways in evaluating numbers. This is important for the retail investor.
Makes sense 🫡

The never ending downtrend for this terrible stock
Nio is up today.
Yes. Naked shorts push it up or bring it down. They are in full control imo
