- Mortal Kombat 2 with background sounds from Ghosts and Goblins and MK and MK3. Once the Jade battle begins things get VERY serious and the noise is focused on MK2. Sit back relax and drift off back to 1995..
Even with my hands being messed up and most likely needing surgery, I decided to try MK2 after years of not playing. Man, I started with Scorpion, but I was getting my ass handed to me, but I was moving up that damn ladder come hell or high water! Jax started giving me a hard time so I switched to Liu Kang, and the AI was trying to frame-perfect counter everything and was even learning my patterns, so I started using what I've learned from watching you the past 2 months. I got up to Raiden and he was hard af at first, then BOOM! Finish Him!! Popped up and on my first real try I turned into the 🐉 and ripped the top part of his damn body off! That was so satisfying! 😆 Thank you, Darryl for all the help with your vids. 👊
Damn dude sorry about your hands, that really sucks 😳 I’m glad you were able to get some enjoyment out of playing again however, but I do hope you are able to get the treatment you need. Stay strong my friend 👊🏼
@BushyStallion Thanks, man. I'm a fighter. Every time life knocks me down, I get back up. Luckily, I've got a break right now, so I can try to enjoy myself for a little bit. It is pretty funny sitting in the doctor's office, and that music hits after Finish Him!! And they hear some character screaming 😄

Thanks to you man I decided to give MK Arcade trilogy on my PS3 a try and I finally found out how to do moves that involve up so I immediately booted up MK9 and finally did the scorpion toasty fatality I’ve been wanting to do ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love doing that jump kick into spear combo. So satisfying.
Another thing everyone is forgetting to do with scorpion is when they jump you can hit "HP" then "Block" which does a considerable amount of damage and is easier then catching them "Hk" or "Lk" then the spear.
Sorry, "Hp" then "Block" in mid-air.
Today we're at our garden, grilling out swimming in the pool, enjoying the nature. And this reminds me of the times when I was a kid and we were at the garden with my family chilling, and I had a videogame magazine with the PC version of Mortal Kombat 2 in it. I remember being glued to that article XD even stuff like this reminds me of MK .

Another epic playthrough. Scorpion was always my fav ever since I first pulled off that mask and lit their ass on fire in MK1.TOASTY!! 🔥 Followed by the mysterious Reptile in MK1, but Sub-Zero's starting to become my new favorite. His Fatalities are sick! Sub-Zero vs. Sub-Zero. That was like you facing your older brother 😆 That deep freeze pool of acid was dope, and Jade is just a monster in MK2! 👊

How do you feel about modern MK games and the upcoming MK1 series reboot?
I’ve got to say I’m interested and want to play it.
They’re awesome games. I usually play through the story when I get them and then play through a few times with different characters. I’m not very good at them and always tend to go back to the original games lol the new one coming out looks awesome 👊🏼

Darryl, can you do a play through with Reptile? He has always been my fav since he was a secret character in the first game. His depiction in 2 was always my favorite. It’s so sad he got left off the roster in 11 and unclear if we will see him in the new 1.

Definitely not the arcade game my friend the nes version though i can beat it losing lots of lives along the way of course😂😂😂 i might revisit it at some point but i will surely need practice cause it's been a while!!!

I have to say this game is too difficult it takes the fun out. The fact you have to glitch the ai to win, i.e jumping back to make the ai jump towards you is kinda lame
It's because the ai literally cheats by reading the player input and reacting instantly to counter perfectly. And also on some attack like the uppercut the ai has fewer frames which makes the attack faster and almost unavoidable.
the AI is cheating too. It’s fair game
I still like the game but it gets frustrating, as others have said. The AI is too quick and you have no chance in most cases.
Have you considered doing some challenges while playing any of the Arcade1up Mortal Kombat games? Something such as the "No fatalities" challenge can defeat the purpose of the game but can trick your brain to do other attacks in the first game but can do animality, friendship and babality with the others.

do you know what brand of buttons and stick the arcade1up cab uses? are they sanwa or proprietary? i love the clickyclick sound lol
Depends on the cab. The newer ones use Sanwa I for the sticks but the buttons are pretty cheap feeling not gonna lie. I may swap out the buttons later.
