Boston Dynamic robot dog projects used to be open sourced and involving too Many Chinese universities and robot start ups before US government forced the company to cut all Chinese links. then Chinese companies Went ahead to further improve the coding and capabilities of the robot dog. Since there are Many companies in China all building similar types That each company designed their robot dogs with some different abilities. Even US army bought some Chinese robot dogs that were show casing in robo expos and are trying to incorporate them because they are Just So versatile.
US army bought Chinese robot dogs? They are putting "National Security" aside? They are even afraid of Chinese EV cars and mobile phones. It is hard to imagine.
