It is said that whomever has explored India for less than 3 months, hasn’t really been there. While we can’t all take that much time out of our daily lives, we can show you two of India’s most remarkable places. Starting in Bombay, it is said to be the wealthiest city in India. From how laundry is done on a mass scale to how saree's are made, we delve more into the culture before heading south. We then see the state of West Bengal, stretching from the shores of the Indian Ocean to the foothills of the Himalayas.

It is a very interesting and colerfull video, but I do not understand that you have to call cultures of other countries unusual just because they are different from Europa.
Also, sadly there are many raceist comments under the video.

Hi! I posted something similar in your video about Latin America. Of course these videos are very good for getting a first look at these places. In my opinion, in some videos, the narrative is a bit outdated. I felt a bit disconfort hearing the remarks about the roles of women still being objectified by some old traits instead of a more relevant social role as they have in 2023. There's also a view in this narrative that normalizes the european interference on the indigenous people lives or the lives of Indians and Africans brought as slaves or workers by the violent European movement of colonization and I also got this same normalization in the videos about the culture in Belize and Mendoza - Argentina as well as the one about the lives in Mumbai and Bangalore. In both of them I also felt the social roles of women being minimized or placed as of minor importance and we know that in 2023 women have achieved a lot more.. Again in my opinion the sense of having an obsolete narrative can be relieved if the date of making the documentary is clearly placed in a relevant position. Thank you so much for sharing your views. there is little Magnificent left in India since the British left Most ppl live in abject poverty, its filthy , over crowded w scarce hygiene and is full of corruption and scam artists I wish better for the good people of India

Are you living under a rock? India was one of the largest economies in the world before the British arrived. The British rule contributed to India's poverty for a significant time. However, India has now emerged as the 4th largest economy globally, pushing the UK to 5th. While India still faces challenges such as overcrowding, poverty, and corruption, these issues are not unique to India and are present in many countries worldwide, even US & UK are experiencing poverty. If you visit India and experience the warmth of the people, the natural beauty, and the hospitality, you will see that India is not what you might have assumed.

@@BollywoodBabuOfficial just because India is the largest economy doesn't mean it's necessarily a good sign. Iceland's gdp is just 26B USD, and it's way too lower than Somalia that is considered a dirt-poor war torn country, but Iceland is one of the high quality countries to live. The important thing is gdp per capita, gini coefficient index, HDI and India is behind in all these metrics. other thing is India is really dirty. the first thing you see when landing in Mumbai is a giant slum with blue roofs, the airport is surrounded by garbage and slums, the road to airport is also surrounded by slums. garbage is everywhere, pollution, filth, poverty, it's a common sight dirt poor people beg by the roads with small children even in andheri west. India is only good for having a business, and factories and that's exactly why it attracts a lot of western companies, but for living it's not a suitable place. South side like bangalore is somewhat better but it's far below compared to a good city in europe. just watch some street walking video of any popular cities in Europe (except cities ruined by muslim refugees) This is why many Indians who migrated to europe barely return unless they can afford a good apartment in a good society. If someone wants a good quality life in mumbai, they should be able to afford an apartment in a good quality suburb in a good quality society, like south bombay, juhu, powai, bandra, but they all are expensive like around 1lak per month, 2BHK with enough space for a smaller family. not many people can afford such homes.
