- Many of you missed the talk box part from a few months ago and asked if I could put both sections together in one video, so here it is!
One of the most creative, musical, and innovative solos of all time (and that groove when the end guitar solo kicks in!!!) by Mr. Peter Frampton.

As a guitarist that has performed that song many times, I can tell you the talk box for me was very fatiguing although lots of fun! You make it look effortless. I want to commend your confidence in knowing the fretboard as you do. Because using the talk box tube requires you to not be able to focus on the neck of the violin, you really make it appear easy and seamless. Folks, It's not!!! Kudos Nina for the number of years it has taken you to memorize the fretboard as you have in order to go the next level in bringing a talk box into the room with you. Great job!!!

As a teenager who wore out 2 eight track tapes on my Pioneer car stereo to this album, I can honestly say you have nailed it! Many good memories attached to this song in the '70's
The moment Nina first took a violin must've sounded so skwonky and horrific ... Whether it's her determination or her parents at first ... There is a lesson to be learned....If you love something, go for it ... whatever anyone says ... When that song first came out I was very young ....released in 1973, I was 10 ... and it was among the songs that made me the drummer I am today ... I did play that song in a few bands... no one ever came close to Frampton .... I was shitty back then, but never quit ... Nina, Thank you for your perfect rendition of one of my most favorite song ever :) You are a rare gem of a musician and I can only imagine what kind of human you are. Hugs and long life.
