How heart-breakingly beautiful. The clusters drove home to me just how BIG everything is with so many stars that they make a mat blocking out any empty space. Billions and billions of stars, where did they all come from....

They're made up of composite images overlapped- x-ray, gamma ray etc.
If you went out there to look for yourself using the minimal spectrums of light humans can see, you'd see pretty much nothing.

@@rachkate76 I understand that, but you're missing what I am saying. I'm talking of the actual composite images. I'm a designer so I understand the concept of layers, blending modes etc. Maybe I should try get my hands on some.
