  • The London era of the Nigerian music industry refers to a period in which most of the post-production work on Nigerian music recordings was done in London. It coincided with the Pop era of Nigerian music in the 80s. Chris Okotie, Jide Obi, Oby Onyioha were beneficiaries of this arrangement which saw the mixing and mastering of their works done in studios in London. Eddy Grant's Coach House studio was a major stopover for post-production work for Nigerian artistes and their labels.
