Thank you so much !!1 Pressure switch was stuck open (bought a new one had same issue no ignition i was perplexed) then I watched your video. The needle in the metal hose grabber cleaned the obstruction and we have heat !!!!! wish I watched this before my order to Amazon !!! Thank you again!!!

Loved the video you helped me greatly I was racking my brain my furnace wouldn't fire gas valve not turning on no voltage to igniter code 4 checked limit switch seemed good watched your video and learned there was a secondary limit switch on my Amana on the side of the blower motor actually 2 of them one on each side of the blower motor fixed them and kicked right on THANK YOU SO MUCH GREAT VIDEO

My heat is revving on auto wouldn't run. Put it on "on" and it's running! I guess I'll turn it on and off manually until I can figure it out. I miss my late husband who would've fixed this. Thank you so much for posting this video! Can't believe I needed it the night before Thanksgiving. I changed the batteries in the thermostat and the filter in the furnace, but neither worked. Thank you for saying that around 7:30 that turning it to on, it should run.

My sister has the same Goodman furnace upright version and it would not work I replace the thermostat and still couldn’t get it to work only until you told me about the blinking light codes I was able to fix it had an open fuse circuit little number three purple fuse was blown replaced it and it fired right up thank you so much
Can’t edit on my phone but by the way it was 5° tonight in Kansas City and her pipes were froze so this really did help

Thanks! Got my furnace fixed after coming home to a cold house after vacation at 1:00 AM! Due to your video I was able to check the pressure switches and one had a couple of drops of water in it that was blocking it from working. Was on vacation and the heat wasn't on and the temps dropped a lot! Wondering if that caused the water to build up?

I have a 4 blinking light indicator for open high limit. Should I order two replacement switch to start ? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi thanks for the video. Hope you can point me out on my problem. I switched from heating to A/C and my SSZ14 is not starting. The error code on my goodman furnace AVPTC is C1 - LOW STAGE COOL - LEGACY MODE ONLY. Do you have any idea how to resolve this issue. The unit was working great during winter but now switching to A/C and the heat pump is not starting anymore. Thanks Hugo

My new Amana furnace red light is blinking at least 9 times. I know it’s a furnace, but does it have anything to do with the AC not blowing cool? The gas is not hooked up yet.
I have the same the same GoodMan heater furnace my problem is it works but, I just see that the light when I look at it it was red instead of green, how can I solve this problem? Thanks
Awesome video, my issue is the flames come on intermittently and cycles on and off while heating the house. Flame sensor switch and it was in quicker intervals. Think it may be faulty high limit? But it looks pretty clean to me. After watching this video think my issue may be pressure swith?
Poor air floor causes limits to get week must measure return air temp and supply air temp. See if that tells you something.
@@IHVAC i got it!! It was definitely the pressure switch but not the switch itself it was the lil hose, it was super loose. Gonna need to replace it had to secure it with electrical tape for now😅
I have the same furnace. Mine has 4 flames tho. I have an issue where the heat comes on and sometimes it doesn’t swapped 3 thermostats. Currently using a plain one no WiFi. What would cause intermittent heat and i had one flash and cleaned the flame sensor. But hasn’t helped much thank you and appreciate any help
First thing I would check is airflow. Clean filters and make.sure registers are all open. Then I would clean the flame flame sensor. If your able to take a video of it not.coming on and let me see what the furnace is doing or not doing. My email is in the description.
I have a Question, or problem with my Goodman Gas Heat furnace.... once every 3 or 4 weeks it won't come on. but works just fine 20 times or more per day for weeks.... Here is where it gets to.... draft fan comes on, pressure switch says OK, Red Glow on the igniter is fine... gas valve will not let it have gas.... Gas valve is fine for the 200 cycles it just went thru in the last 3 weeks, & I even Replace gas valve with a new one a few months ago.... So what step is between glow plug on and gas valve not opening.... that could be sporadic. that I should look at. Great Video and Thank you for your time.
High limit
according to the after hours tech the power is going into the connections on the gas valve but not going out ( to inducer and limit safety circut ) .. so i need a new gas valve ... he wanted $790 for a $300 gas valve
Hi my name is Alex I just saw your video and what my furnance does is that the blowers goes on and the ignitiator goes on and aftet 10 seconds goes off and that set. the LED signal just stay on and the flame never turn on. what can I do. please need help.!!

Ok I'm kinda stuck. My furnace turns on , gas turns on, fan turns on, emergency heat works but when I switch to auto it starts blowing cold air. Any ideas ?

I got a amana air command 95.
I got 4 flashes. Open limit.
Blower is staying on i know its suppose to stay on with a open limit.
I got continuity through both limits and continuity through the wires from limit to the plug on the board.
I also jumped the limt just to make sure it wasnt the problem.
Filters clean,vents are all open.
Its not overheated, its been sitting all day with the power.
Bad board?
Maybe a manual reset high limit by the blower housing?

I got an amana furnace that inducer turns on and quickly dies and i get 8 flashes. Ignitor reads zero ohms.
Replace ignitor.
Thank you. I got a new ignitor and it now ignites but theres no flame.i get 24v to gas valve and gas valve is not opening. I gotta get a new gas valve now. I never knew amana checked ignitor after inducer

I'm begging someone for help here!!! We purchased a Goodman furnace in September of this year, we've gotten them before. Our furnace will not run continuously, it ran for 8 days max. We have followed all the instructions had HVAC guys come here to install parts, as we were directed to do. We have everything documented, recorded as we spoke to the distributor which would be an HVAC direct. They Told my husband he was a "do it him selfer" and we just wanted free parts". No we don't, we want heat, I was told at one point not to lecture this one rep as we were talking. Yes I'm frustrated but I was rude, we even asked if they would send a representative out here to help us, told them if we messed up we would pay. They told us NO! This was HVAC direct, we are not looking for hand outs. We are looking for someone to help us please!! We live near Lake Ontario it's gonna get cold here, my husband has followed everything by the book. My next step is the news, but I don't want to do that. So please, please, will some one reach out to us whom has experience in this and with these furnaces to help fix this!!
