I really hope the employees are being treated and paid well because as Adam said, this is a dream job.
If I ever lived in NYC, this is the first place I would apply to. I want to be exposed to this world everyday and see how happy it makes everyone else.
I loved the staff there. They were eager to help especially considering the stress they must have felt catering to hundreds of people at one time. One of them helped continue my card collection by giving me Helga Hufflepuff. She saw my Hufflepuff robe and the quidditch shirt I ordered and gifted it to me. That was one of the best gifts ever.
And some moonlight as actors. One person playing Nessa in Wicked which we saw the next day worked at the Harry Potter store. Amazing.
That’s crazy it’s already been a year! Looks like a lot of fun!!

The Harry Potter store seems so beautiful, and magical. I love how everything is set up, and the Hagrid poster with the boots looks hilarious, It proves just how big Hagrid's feet are. 😃

I waited like four hours to get into this store June 2021! It was well worth it! I spent over $2,000 on awesome merch! The butterbeer was PERFECT!!’

This seems really cool, I have not yet seen the harry potter world at universal studios, and now I feel like I need to see it all. Been re watching all the movies, and just loving seeing it all.
My daughter and I just visited the Harry Potter Museum on June 22, 2022 when with visited New York. She's 24 and a Hufflepuff, wile I'm 60 and a Gryffindor. We had a great time at the museum, and plan to go to Universal latter this year. Your videos are very useful and informative, and I just subscribed to them

I really want to go to the HP store in NY and it's not too far to travel from where I live, but I have severe anxiety about cities and crowds so I haven't been yet. Hopefully, someday if I can convince some friends to take a little trip I might be able to bring myself to go. It looks so amazing.

I love seeing the fans change the reputation of the Slytherin house (any house really). I love how they prove that (and Peter) show there are kind, funny, and compassionate Slytherins.
I know some people ban Harry Potter (not for the magic) because of JK Rowling and O totally get that but the fans that made this community as big and hopeful and joyful as it is now is what we are celebrating. I am glad they can still enjoy this world and bring people together.

i made butterbeer myself once. and from what i know it was the recipe from orlando studios. but it was horrible to me like it was literally sickly sweet to the put it gave me a headache. so i'm kind of terrified if i ever try it again that it'll be the same way so i don't know if i would get anything even flavored like it.

I just booked a trip to New York for December last week. Of course the store was one of the first things I noted to visit. What is a good estimation of time to spend in the store?
If you're like me, you will want to spend a lot of time there. If you are doing VR, expect to spend 30 minutes for each with getting the equipment on, the experience itself, etc. Time to get a snack, enjoy it, and at least an hour and a half to explore and then more time to SHOP.
The Potter Collector thanks for your response! I really love the franchise and want to check everything out. I don’t think I am going to do the vr experiences. The shopping part is always the hardest part, definitely with the import laws for The Netherlands (over ~450 euros paying taxes).

I’m leaving for it on the 8th but I think I’m actually going to be there on the 14th. I am such a big fan of yours and I have been following you for awhile.
