You are my forever. | Ashley & Ben's Cambridge Mill Wedding

Ashley and Ben met in university; they were in the same program (it was a small one `~30 people) and in the same friend group. They were just friends in the beginning and then got together after they each went on their graduation trips. Ben picked Ashley up from the airport with a sign that said, "will you go out with me?” The rest is really history (6 years later ...)
They currently live in Toronto with Ashley's dog (Tucker) from university, who now lives with them. Ben put the ring box in one of Tucker's tennis balls, and at the park they always go to, he threw the ball, and that was the proposal. Ashley was totally surprised, and it totally suited them!
When I asked them why they want to be married, this is what they said:
“We are best friends above all else - there is no one we would rather spend time with or talk to more and always make each other laugh (especially Ben which you will soon learn with his sarcastic sense of humour; we can tell you the story of what he did with Alicia when we were writing our vows).
We are choosing to marry to continue being best friends, committing to spend the rest of our life together and take the next step in our lives (and hopefully have a family).”
I also asked what they were most looking forward to on their wedding day, and this is what they said:
“We are doing a first look and going to read a private "letter" to each other (thinking about doing it back to back first without seeing each other). We are having one of our close friends officiate, and we say our individually written vows/promises during it. It is not a big wedding - ~80 people, which was important to us (intimate and romantic is what we are hoping for!).”
Their wedding was intimate, playful, heartfelt, and so so beautiful. We had such a great time getting to know these two and capturing their day. Congratulations a million times over, you two!
