- Thank you, @projectbluray9376, for sharing. I would like to share my experience. This is how you disable the fake exhaust noise.
Tools:
1x Phillips screw driver
1x 8mm socket and wrench
1x Nylon pry bar
1x Microfiber towel
1x flashlight
It works the same for the new Integra. You just have to remove the leather trim piece below the vents. In order to take out the panel behind the glove box. (Thank you for the video.) 👍🏼
Is there a video on that as well?
@@ShawnUrPRo the only issue in doing this is you also lose the active noise control in comfort mode for the integra
You don't have to disconnect it. It is not just for the fake engine sound. Instead go to the amplifier and unpin or cut the the 4 output wires for the fake engine sound and that's it.
Can you do a video?
We need to see this? Ty
I must do this wish you made the video of disassembling and reassembling. I would’ve liked and subscribed if you did
I'm trying to get a consistent recording on working on my car. There's a point where recording makes in the repair longer, and I want to get it done and drive my car.
So you really couldn’t like the video because of that. 😂 Great work Xcel! It’s very self explanatory and I appreciate the effort.
Yes 👌
how does it affect the noise cancellation ?
Just keep the sound imo. Mine is not going away
Your sound isn’t going away?
I know I’m late but did you have to remove the vent section to do this? I don’t see how popping that out gives you any more room unless it’s required to access the back of the glove box?
Yes, in order to remove the glove box.
@@xcelr8auto965 thanks. Didn’t realize the dash retained the box. I was just trying to avoid popping the vents out when i get mine end of March but I shall do what you did lol
Is that stock? Engine sounds good at the end
Yes
What blow off valve do you have on your new civic si 2022? And where is the website I can buy it from?
No BOV. Stock
2020 SI was much easier to do wow
Can't you configure it in the modes?
Yes😂
@@tylerschindler393 they dont have it to configure in the car settings
@@SSGKeo I coulda swore I just watched a video where a guy disabled his in the settings. I’m gonna try to find the video I watched and I’ll comment back. I could be very wrong
@@mikeh4858 you found It?
@@mikeh4858found it yet?
I never understood why any car manufacturer would come up with this fake engine noise bullshit. Just put a real exhaust on the car. fake is tacky as hell
What bov did you use?
Stock BOV.
Is there a bov on the si?
It has an electronic waste gate
Wtf the 11th gen has fake noise?!?!?!? 🤯🤯🤯
Only in sport mode
@@charane that’s wild
Why are people so disturbed by piped in engine noise? It isn’t even noticeable compared to the VW Audi Soundaktors. What a waste of time!
Because we buy an actual exhaust and want to hear that, not some fake noises
Did you hear that bov at the end cause I can't hear mine over the fake noise😂😂
p̾r̾o̾m̾o̾s̾m̾ 😠
Just leave it alone, I left mine, you can’t get any sleep if you don’t?
IKR so dumb.
Because people want to hear the real engine not fake shit. I heard what it sounds like on sounds so gimmicky.
@@5.0cs_Brandon not really, doesn’t bother me at all, don’t even notice it
@@Bbc418I have a subwoofer, when the fake engine noise comes it it makes a bass boosted fake engine noise I need it off lol
