Disable Fake Exhaust Noise (22 Honda Civic Si)

  • Thank you, ‪@projectbluray9376‬, for sharing. I would like to share my experience. This is how you disable the fake exhaust noise.
    Tools:
    1x Phillips screw driver
    1x 8mm socket and wrench
    1x Nylon pry bar
    1x Microfiber towel
    1x flashlight

    It works the same for the new Integra. You just have to remove the leather trim piece below the vents. In order to take out the panel behind the glove box. (Thank you for the video.) 👍🏼

      @@ShawnUrPRo the only issue in doing this is you also lose the active noise control in comfort mode for the integra

    You don't have to disconnect it. It is not just for the fake engine sound. Instead go to the amplifier and unpin or cut the the 4 output wires for the fake engine sound and that's it.

      I'm trying to get a consistent recording on working on my car. There's a point where recording makes in the repair longer, and I want to get it done and drive my car.

    I know I’m late but did you have to remove the vent section to do this? I don’t see how popping that out gives you any more room unless it’s required to access the back of the glove box?

    I never understood why any car manufacturer would come up with this fake engine noise bullshit. Just put a real exhaust on the car. fake is tacky as hell

    Why are people so disturbed by piped in engine noise? It isn’t even noticeable compared to the VW Audi Soundaktors. What a waste of time!

      @@Bbc418I have a subwoofer, when the fake engine noise comes it it makes a bass boosted fake engine noise I need it off lol
