Truly Eastwood's best work in that it's actually an alright movie. I always get a chuckle out of right wingers understanding this sort of shit and then still dedicating their lives to some form of ethnonationalism that would put them personally in a gas chamber.
Eastwood's a conservative but he's definitely not from the ethnonationalist side of things. In fact, I think he wholeheartedly and unironically believes in civic identity and the whole melting pot concept.
Felix going on a dumb rant insisting none of the people there are ACTUALLY having good time, only for Matt and Amber to say yes they are and you're a **** if you're not having a good time too. Classic.
"Once your photo is on that FBI corkboard, _everybody_ fits the profile." This sounds like a movie I saw ages ago (I wanted to rewatch it from the beginning, but never got the name to do so) that was essentially this plot, but the "loser" in question was this gay manchild, and the person ruining him was some lady running for town mayor (think 'Mirror Mirror' Leslie Knope... though that isn't quite fair and I'll explain why shortly). This was still a time where people still made a 1:1 leap that "homosexual male" automatically equals "pedophile", but because he's such an innocent moron, he constantly puts himself in situations where he looks like he's trying to bang kids. Like he wants to run a daycare, and says things that can be taken out of context. The woman isn't just evil for evil's sake; she legit thinks she's doing the right thing, and her campaign is based around making people feel safe and ramps up this fear around this nonexistent kid-diddler frenzy. And at the end, when everything works out and she gets her "comeuppance" and loses her campaign, she has this head-scratching moment where she's trying to figure out where she went wrong, and defeatedly mutter to herself "... but... but he fits the profile..." Kinda hoping some hero internet sleuth will someday reply with the name of this film.
Why is Felix talking like the doom and gloom of nineties was a lived experience for him when he was a rich child lmao. You don't absorb "the hollow vibes" when you're that young unless you're being bombed.
Do you know what’s crazy I thought I never saw this movie until like 18 minutes in until they started describing the opening scene and I realized I hit shuffle on Netflix and this movie was playing in the background while I was hooking up with this crystal girl. I remember the girl thinking the guy was “cute” and I was like “really?? Am I a weirdo she’s into wierdos?” 😂. Maybe she saw his genuine enthusiasm to help people but immediately i saw a simp for authority and turned my brain off 🤔
I liked letters from iwo Jima for humanising Japanese soldiers and brutality of some doesn't go to cartoonist level. Something Clint completely fails in American sniper with Iraqis being cariatures and lies about what Chris Kyle actually was from extreme blood thirsty Islamophobe to claiming kills from others and demand more medals
Chapo are really obnoxious this video and i can't really figure out why i feel that way. Anybody else feel like that and have some insight into why they feel so obnoxious?
“Imprints on any authority figure around him like a baby bird” is the funniest shit I’ve ever heard
"There's no one America hates more than anyone that really seriously playing by the rules and doing a good job" That's a hell of a quote for sure.
One of the best Chapo movie episodes plus it has Amber ruling the roost.
🚩Amber alert 🚩
Hen in the cockhouse
as she should
she is obnoxious and some ruins the flow of the show with her “wit”
@@rodrigoroa6753 always nice to meet a fellow gay man

Eastwood also made arguably the best movie of the 90s and one of the best movies of all time, Unforgiven

Both Amber and Matt are annoying, Chapo can run without them but there's no Chapo without Felix.
@@rodrigoroa6753 What does this have to do with my comment lol

Commenting to see what this is called
Same
Oh god this rings a bell but I have no clue
I think it's called the Mcmartian trial or McCarthy trial. Great freaking movie
@@nxi8792 idk if that's the same movie just based on the synopsis from google, but it sounds pretty good too so it's a good shout out either way
man this is the first time i've seen the poster. i didn't realize they used the guy who kept getting his lines stolen by jamie taco
all thanks to the support of his wonderful wife
That skit is hilarious and touching which is a tough combo.

Holy CLINT! One of the Very Best Chapo movie reviews ever. TOTALLY watching this thing now! Cheers.
Maybe my favorite review. Thanks for all the uploads. Keep up the good work 🖤
Amber was so good on the show.
I liked this episode a lot. much better than that musical hell on earth
Hoping they review Cop Land one of these days
James Mangold is a great director
still the greatest Chapo thing...ever. I return to it yearly.

Honestly, that's was great 👍
Dibs!
I know they bad mouthed flags of our father/letters from Iwo Jima but as a war movie snob I personally think they’re really great
I was not impressed by Letters. It seemed by the numbers and unfocused. The CGI was also horrendous.
Never saw Flags so I can't comment on that.
