Nah I get it, if it's true. I never believe it ever but the logic is there, and some people may be delusional and actually believe they're doing good when they aren't.
The only time I think this can work is if you use a cheat to kill all your teammates if there's someone hacking on your team (which does exist I've seen it on a previous hacker replay), then throw the match. I don't think anyone's done it before because, again, these white hat hackers are full of shit, but it's the only time white hat hacking could actually work.
People won't be as trigger happy with their accusations if the cheater is on their own team

Guy can simply die because of skill issue, then cry in chat about this, and next round he toggles on (cs2 moment, they love to say "kick cheater on your team" here a lot) So idk, i understand that on paper idea sounds "good". I don't agree with it because I don't trust anyone who decides to download cheats not to use them maliciously, but if I could trust them then they would definitely be the saviours of this game.

Yeah, funny story about that one: I played in a tournament recently and we had map bans. I was the captain of our team, so I was responsible for the bans and strats. First match was against a team with 3 manageable players, but 2 players we had to be really cautious of. So my goal was to play a map they don't like and thus I banned maps like Oregon and Chalet. They banned maps they were uncomfortable on, like Bank and Consulate. At the end I had the last ban and the choice between Nighthaven Labs and Skyscraper. So I banned Skyscraper. We won on Nighthaven with 7-4.
Lesson of the day: Get a squad for ranked, get strats for maps others don't like and then ban maps most people like.
Very true lesson there. I like playing the maps people hate because other people don't know what they are doing. 🤷♀️

My friend basically assumes everyone's cheating and is always like "oh i have a klar key" or something blahblahblah "I can toggle," and also has bragged about using anti recoil scripts or whatever because "everyone's cheating anyway" and reasons that it isn't real cheating but he always dies before me so I've never actually seen how his recoil looks.

The worst thing about these cheaters, especially in quick match is that if you call them out their team mates start bagging you and leaving report you for griefing after the accusation.

Yesterday I was preaiming a window and had a Misinput and clicked the trigger. One shot head shot. I immediately reported myself then spent the remainder of the match trying to prove I was legit while ending up going 8-2-6 KDA.

Vodkabear did that the rest of their attack rounds and had like 15 kills by the end. Round 2 he started trash talking in text chat but he didn’t start cheating until he got on attack for some reason.

Watching at .25 speed there is some horizontal recoil during 54:01-02. He's more focused on the vert against Fuse but does pull it to the left to keep up with the fuse moving to his right with the shield. If anything hes trying to not overcomp it

My first couple seasons my KD was awful. For numerous reasons .41 is my lowest season I think. Now I'm fairly consistently 1.02 or so.
It was my mouse DPI mostly, and game sense.

had a cheater enemy in 2 games of quickmatch back to back yesterday. he was bottom of the scoreboard for 2 rounds then went full blatant and won the first game, next game my 3 stack started flaming him instantly and his team was like "oh shit he really is cheating" after round 1. so the entire lobby started talking shit to him. he was talking back at first but when his team started bullying and TKing him i got a little carried away in chat and said some pretty mean shit. he thought it was funny at first that i was mad, but he eventually stopped replying and when 2 of the enemy team got removed from match for exesive TKing with explosives so they would lose he rage quit. i've been thinking about him today. that guy said why not pay for cheats he had fun cheating and he though it was funny that we were mad about it. when i explained to him we were actually all laughing at him for being such a loser, that he pays money just to have all the people around him hate that he exists, that was when the "haha you're mad" replies started falling off. like i said i got carried away when his team started joining in with me and i just really hope that guy decided to uninstall the cheats and be a better person after that cause i hate thinking i bullied some guy too far if you know what i mean, even if he was a scumbag cheater.

I feel like people today just seem to forget what White Knighting used to be, or atleast what I had encountered when ever the term was put into action. If someone on the enemy team was cheating or suspected of cheating they would turn on their cheats and only kill that person, and then them selves to make the game fair. Now its just an excuse to cheat cause ur shit at the game 🤷♀️

It is hard to explain but, .5 is not 50% of the time, 1.0 IS 50% of the time you get a kill, because for every death you kill one, so, 1 to 1, 50%, 2.0 is 66%, 3.0 is 75% and so on, just wanted to clarify

Everyone can be called a cheating these days just because they shoot you through a wall or you get an ace ect. bro this shit is so annoying, me and my brother play siege together every day and i had him watching a drone while dead and he told me someone was creeping up stairs so i prefired him on stair, he called me a cheater and toggled the next round. i haven't played in weeks causes of cheaters then when i come back the 2 games i play were both cheaters.

Hackers can get through encrypted data to hack. why don’t they just decrypt the inbound network that tells the computer where to place the characters and such? And have it display on a seperate instance/3d modeling software? Couldn’t that be a way they hack?

It's really annoying since I only play standard and often get asked if I "use a controller" because I don't have perfect recoil control. I feel like cheaters are leading a false perception that you have to be outstanding as this game or your basically garbage. Just sad how much of a false perception people have to how amazing you "should be" at the game.
