Eerie "air raid" siren | Whelen WPS-2802 + fireworks | NYE 2021

This is the second clip from our 2021 NYE festivities, recorded from our dock where the siren is visible up on our back porch.
For this year's siren setup, I decided to pair up the controller from my Vortex with the speaker array for my WS-282 (same as the WPS-2800 series, hence the title) so that I could try out some of Whelen's "alternate" tones on the ESC-2020 logic board. The first sound is the rather infamous "Best Possible Protection" tone (alert function), followed by the short "All Clear" tone (noon test function). The All Clear signal wasn't supposed to hang at that low point like it did before shutting off; the logic board locked up for a few seconds at the end of that downward sweep and caused the tone to glitch out.
