Late upload, but better late than never!
Ringing in another new year with the same Whelen WPS-2802 as last year, complete with its glitchy-as-ever ESC-2020 logic board running the alternate (European) tone set. This year I also decided to quickly try out the "Gas Proof Protection" tone at the end, just to hear for myself what that one actually sounds like at full volume with the ambient reverb - it turned out pretty creepy!
This is essentially an audio recording (in video format) that I took on my phone, which was placed in our front yard away from the house and on the opposite side as the siren's location, to get the mic out of the siren's direct sound path and take full advantage of the amazing natural reverb that our surrounding terrain has to offer.
