Ok.. you didn't show how to install a surefire! I'm confused.... (Edited) Nvm i totally missed the part of surefire "pro" i have a scout light that doesn't have the integrated mount. Looks like I'm buying a new light.
For the vertical foregrip, there's an option to add the "MLOK slot on the right side" on the website when you order. Is that the part you're referring to at the 6:35 mark?
The Mlok option is new, it adds a slot on the right side of the handguard. The part shown at the 6:35 mark is our front sight mount without a pressure switch. That can be found on the front sight mount product page on our site.
I noticed my mount came today with two sets of different size screws. My Surefire with Modlite body didn’t seem to like the wedge when paired up with the weapon. So I used the short screws without the wedge and seems to fit good. Am I doing anything wrong by not using the wedge?
The two lengths of screws are because of differences in some MP5 clones. The main point of the wedge is to keep the modlite feet from marring the front site post. If you don't mind a few scratches, then it's fine without the wedge.

Very disappointed with this mount. Tightening the light delete kit down enough that it doesn't wobble excessively caused a stress fracture. I'd suggest making that part with a rigid metal core, just like the core of the switch mount.
Hello, we are very aware that the current design of the light delete and pro mount are lacking. We are almost done with the redesign that uses a threaded metal insert bar that spans the whole length of the adapter. We will be offering the new version as a free replacement for any customers with the old version. If you send us an Email I will get one of our prototypes sent out to you.

Possibly a build list of the components used for the top activated set up…
