Love hearing the Centurion’s whistle blowing in the background. It gave the video an even more authentic feel.
Of course, you need to whistle while you work!

Wow. Great video. I was really impressed
"Veni , Vidi , Vici" This sentence was pronounced by Julius Caesar not on the occasion of the wars against the Gauls, but during the battle against Pharnace II , king of the Bridge (in Asia Minor) in 47 BC
True it was documented he made it a point to be heard that day, But was a well known saying he would say after many occasions 👍
Damn ! This is MUCH more massive than my video, PROPS !!! love your content !
I found your channel recently and have already subscribed. I was researching the Siege of Alesia. Please make a video about this battle! I loved your channel. Congratulations!
Great historical chanell ! I watch it with pleasure ! And battles as they were !👍

Nice work ♥️
If I was alive back then, I'd be a peasant farmer in the background watching this battle.
Supersuper wieder spitze produziert ihr seid wahre. Künstler 😍🙏🌹🌷🙋♀️🇩🇪👍 danke dafür
Felicitaciones. Un vídeo. Muy conseguido. Bravo.
Beautiful 👌
Pozdrawiam. Super zrobione. Już wcześniej miałem podziękować za podejście do serii Total War, a szczególnie Attyli, a z 3K coś będziesz robił?. Na jakim sprzęcie to robisz? Same bitwy mnie interesują...
What can I say, another masterpiece
Всё замечательно, как всегда, большое спасибо
Damn! That was exciting! Honestly, I don't go for CGI but this was phenomenal. Great work. 🇨🇦😊
It's not cgi
More Sparta battles 👌

Romans and celts both badass
Great film and well made 👌 a good history lesson thanks
Regards. Super done. I had to thank you earlier for approaching the Total War series, especially Attila, and will you be doing something with 3K? What equipment are you doing this on? The battles themselves interest me ...

El detalle de las hachas y las jabalinas lanzadas desde lejos están de 10!

Kudos to the cameraman who stood in the middle of the carnage filming all this🤣
Comunque ottima realistica sai proprio come attirare l'attenzione in una battaglia
This gonna be awesome
the supplies to feed and water all these soldiers must have been massive to organize.
Yup, especially since they had to march everywhere they went and that took forever.
And I don't think this much horses are still available in the world
lmao this is epic,the battlecry!
Wow the Swiss (Helvitii) are fighting in a war for once.
Caesar seems so untouchable by all this. It's almost like he's playing the game
Awesome 👍
Epic!
Damn, that was close call for Caesar!
not only veni vidi vici but also ale jacta est
Magnific. Video
So great

Looks like fun
thanks ..what amazing video... Rome Invectus
Can’t imagine how quickly you would get exhausted in a battle like this. Thus dropping your ability to defend yourself quickly. I know the Romans used to rotate their lines to help keep guys fresher, but still with all that equipment, and often times in hot weather, it probably wouldn’t take long even for trained soldiers arms to become so exhausted that you couldn’t raise a forceful blow or thrust.
You are just fat
i think thats what happened to the romans during the battle of cannae in a hot august.
@@user-rp1vu1gk5u : yes. Overheated, exhausted and also crushed together. A horrible way to die I’m sure.
Waw ❤️
The good old days. Sometimes I fantasize about all the destruction I could cause on an ancient battle field.
real
Cool
Sublime
super video
I just love total war
Excellent video. Thanks for helping me visualize one of caesars most important battles. If I may ask, what hardware are you using? I have an i9 and a 2080ti and I don't think I could run a 55k man battle on my pc in 4k. This is excellent quality.
I have the same setup as you 👍🏻
Hi, i have ryzen 95900x and rtx 3070, 32g RAM, and i couldn t run a 55k man Battle in 1440p. Have you risolve your question? Thanks
Grandi battaglie dell'Impero Romano conto i Galli.
There are a couple of historical inaccuracies at the beginning of the video but it remains very nice
Thanks
Super video wo killz roam galz saldaten wiel danke ☠️☠️💀
"If you find yourself alone, riding in the green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled. For you are in Elysium, and you're already dead! Brothers, what we do in life... echoes in eternity."
11:20 the guy who gets a pilum in the head as he’s being finished 😂
Nice movie. 👍
So good ! What is your pc spec to run this ?
Jules césar, grand général vraiment très fort en tactique de bataille ou de guerre, pour moi. 🇨🇵🐊🌴❤️
One would ask why the Romans didn't fire arrows at the retreating soldiers and send their calvary for the knock out blow.
I could hear HBO Rome's Battle of Philippi as background SFX.
Watching this makes me wonder how they walked so many miles, how do you feed this many soldiers, how many weapons did you carry, on and on.
How did they keep an army on the move of that size feed? Baggage trains must have been massive as well.
Interesting. But the famous phrase from Caesar was not said against the Gauls but after a victory against The king of Pont (modern Turkey)
There is that warcry first heard around 2:41. Is that taken from some game or a movie?
👌👏
Swords would not have as easily penetrated the Lorica Hamata as shone here. There would be no point in wearing it if this was to be the case.
Games have only come so far. Seeing as total war Rome was remastered. I hope in another ten years or so they will remaster this one and it will have those small details and physics.
Most legionaries certainly didn't have feathers on their Montefortino/ Coolus helmets according to serious recent findings.
hello how do you do for make a video with as much unit without time lag ? what is your config pc ?
Граю рим майже 15 років. Респект
*The barbarians knows how to win a war but not how to use it*
-Julius Caesar-
Galia Conquest and Julius Caesar's Commentarii de Bello Gallico.
That time in infantry the romans were the best. On open field only big cavalry armies, like the persians,or the huns could have won them, just with fast moving, archering cavalry. The similar infatry armies, like the gauls did not have a chance for a while. Just when the goths, and other nations copied the tactic of the romans, roughly 200 after christ, there was a chance for them.
Think about the size of the baggage trains it must have taken to support that meny troops
Hai aku berasal dari Indonesia
Aku suka konten ini🤗
I’ll bet a lot of those soldiers on both sides were literally shitting themselves. I can’t imagine how they ever found the courage to engage in that kind of combat.
Certainly, a lot of them were terrified I am sure. Being run through or slashed by a sword or spear wasn’t a pleasant, but at all. But they had to do what they had to do. Especially the Roman legionaries - if they didn’t do their duty they were going to get executed anyway by their own.
ROMA the best warriors at that time the tactics to fight , The Roman Empire was the largest in the world. Philosopher,Engineer,Architect, etc etc etc etc etc BRAVO ROMANOS
Alot was greek :)

Mejor calidad que cantidad.
How do you get archers for rome ? It is custom battle or campaign ?
what is that war chant used by the gallic tribes?
18:00 Defeated Gallic soldiers retreating, surprising to see the Romans not going after them to finish them off or take them as prisoners ?
There were no Pretorian guards among them. The Pretorian Corps was established by Emperor Augustus, Cesar's successor.
Thanks for the lesson 👍🏻
how you can get rome to have more archer units ? it is from dlc or what ? and if it is possible to get more units in custom battle
Bro non so se tu parli italiano ma penso di sì mi puoi dire come generare il sangue nelle battaglie
What mod is this? Also loved the battle keep it up
Mods in the description
thx god we have guns now , easy kill, less pain bloody
Gunshot wounds are still very bloody, especially wounds from a 7.62 or a 50 cal
What you are NOT showing is the rotation of front line combatants by the Romans.
It is only possible to fight effectively with a short sword for brief period of time.
The huge advantage that the Romans had over their adversary was method of rotation for front to back.
The Roman Centurian used a bone whistle to signal a change in the dragons teeth
The 2nd row would turn their shields side ways and allow the front rank to move to the rear then the 2nd row would become the front line.
I understood the actual movement is unknown. I don't think it's even known how individual centuries form up.
