Streamlined J3A, I'm in! Very glad to see Scullin Disc planned for these.
Even not modelling US I'm still planning to pick one up, I've always loved those.
Maybe I might get one with the scullin disc wheels. Maybe in the future Bachman might reuse and slightly modify their streamline Dreyfuss Hudson with sculling disc wheels so they can make Connor for the Thomas & Friends HO scale range
Bachmann - Keeping The Railroad Dreams Alive . 🚂 🇺🇸
I'm so excited about the Dreyfuss and the 4-6-0's! Here's to hoping that they eventually are made in HO scale, I'd buy a whole fleet of them
If Bachmann is going to make the NYC Dreyfuss Hudson, they better make the correct 20th Century Limited passenger cars to go with it. If Bachmann executes this well, they could make a home run.
Here's hoping they'll eventually get the 19th Century 4-6-0's in HO scale.
I wholeheartedly second this opinion.
Well, Bachmann originally did the NYC hudson in N scale, then HO. So maybe down the line we'll see the 4-6-0 jump to HO scale.
I third this opinion.
@@thebrantfordrailfan Yeah. Bachmann is definitely making me feel represented with those choices, especially since my two biggest areas of interest are Hudson’s and transcontinental era railroading. If it’s actually prototyped from the Schenectady 4-6-0, I’ll be streaming tears of joy. I love upgrading and painting brass, but it’s not as satisfying having to settle with using the frame and boiler for a different engine to represent the one you’re trying to model.
Let’s hope that Bachmann will rerelease the HO USRA Heavy and Light Mountain 4-8-2
Especially both HO USRA Heavy and Light Mountain 4-8-2 will have the chassis redesigned to have a drive train with gears instead of the belt drive and a 5 pole motor, similar to the HO URSA Light 2-10-2.
Finally I can make a N scale Back to the Future scene with that 4-6-0.
Oh man, the N scale 4-6-0 is a god send. I need one, n was thinking about bashing one! Now you need to make an 2-6-6-4 in N scale. ❤ thank you. 😊
we need Brightline with the venture and charger release!!
Great announcements! Bachmann is really stepping up the game in N scale. Would also love to see the Acela in N scale with sound and the old Metroliner models updated to modern standards with lights, sound, etc. Thanks.
Thanks for bringing the VIA Rail new fleet to N Scale !!!
Lots of goodies for us N scalers!
Y'all are really stepping up your game, keep it up 👍
I'm super hyped for the N scale 4-6-0! It's about time we got some more 19th century steam in any scale, but especially in N. Hopefully they do an HO version at some point.
Wow, Dryfus Hudsons, cant wait to get one of thsoe!
Note that the VIA Venture cars are semi-permanently coupled. There are only traditional knuckle couplers on the nose of the Siemens Charger locomotive and the nose of the cab car. Do you plan to model these correctly?
Quite honestly I'm excited to see the thomas announcements soon
When will the Thomas announcements come?
@Bachmann Trains Are They Making Brightline Florida High Speed Ho Scale Train Set ?
I almost fell out of my chair when you guys announced the C36-7!
Glad we could deliver!
Really cool that you are making the Amtrak Venture Cars
Wish there was more for G scale but still happy with what we got!
Hopefully you make steven that will make my day! plus i have been getting engines from your randge
your the best Bachmann
Question: Would it be possible to add a new coupler that's compatible with both the HO Thomas and Friends line as well as the rest of the Knuckle and/or Horn Hook type couplers?
I get that it's probably a thing to keep the Thomas brand separated from the other stuff but it's really annoying having to either come up with a solution myself or resort to damaging the models by making a permanent change like snipping off the old couplers and screwing a gearbox in its place.
Possible Solution Idea: A coupler with the rotating part of the knuckles/horn hooks (the loop that fits inside the gearboxes) extended to a standard Hook and Loop part to allow the ease of swapping out a single coupler to turn a regular piece of rolling stock into a transition car that we want, or also making a secondary option in addition to the first with the reverse idea. (IE: Making a knuckle coupler 'head' with a flat 'screw plate' to put onto the Thomas brand stuff.)
I choked on my Pepsi when I saw the announcement of the Dreyfuss and C36-7 you guys are doing such a great job, keep up the good work guys!
Looked at the catalog and IM HYPED AS HECK FOR STANLEY! WE ARE FINALLY GETTING STANLEY IN HO SCALE! WHEN HE STARTS FOR SHIPPING, IM GONNA PRE ORDER INSTANTLY
this is going to be awesome!
They skipped the Thomas stuff
But the catalog has new Thomas stuff such as Stanley and Duncan
Wish someone will pick up where black stone models won’t and do the K class locos in HOn3
Yes! THE HUDSON!
When they were released in the UK Annie and clarabel's HO models got black under frames and red buffer stems which were more accurate. I hope they'll receive those updates for the US releases.
Why would they even bother doing that lol
When Annie and clarabel got released for the UK they got the black under frames which differentiates them from their us releases which have gray under frames. The reason why I'm answering you is because since they managed to update James to make him look like his TV series model by giving him black Wheels black axle boxes for his tender and a black smoke box saddle maybe they'll think about giving Annie and clarabel the black under frames to make them look more accurate to not just their TV models but also their CGI renders but maybe they'll think about giving them those updates in the future for their us releases so that way everyone can get a more accurate looking Annie and clarabel.
HOORAY for a manufacturer who tells us the scale in G gauge trains. (Pet peeve) A body mounted coupler option is also important. Thanks.
Hmmmm. Not a word on Williams by Bachman for O gauge....irony abounds
Williams is dying on the vine. It’s a real shame.
Maybe they could use Percy’s chassis for an HO Lady and maybe one day and give her a front coupler too, they could also one day bring back the flatcar with paint drums and have the paint drums not molded together and not hollow, and make a flatcar with pipes and have the pipes made of diecast instead of plastic.
I hope Bachmann repaint their HO Duck’s buffer shanks red one day and give him a second whistle valve like the one he has.
I just got my Southern Pacific 4449 in the mail this month. Waited on pre order since last year. I like the shine on her. Wishing the pilot and trailing trucks were mounted directly underneath the frame. Haven't run it just yet.
Start re-issuing your Spectrum steam!!!!
Can y’all bring back the ez command walk around companion? I can’t find it in stock anywhere and I would rather get it than to buy a new dcc system. I just want to run trains with my friends.
Has Bachmann ever thought releasing some HOn3 stuff for all the modelers out there that do HO and HOn3. It would be nice to see more of a selection other than the brass and Blackstone models stuff.
I would also like a rerun of the ho scale climax locomotives please!!! If the climax c class is re-released, we might potentially get an ho scale Ferdinand the logging loco!
I wonder if it's possible to make Belle by using and modifying your standard class 4mt with articulated water cannons? That way everyone can have a sodor search and rescue member to their ho/oo fleet?
Super hyped that the HO VIA sets are almost out! Could the Siemens S70 be next transit offering?
I hope you guys will take my suggestion of those FA-2s being painted in a mopac scheme, theyd sell like pancakes at Dennys. Also, is that an O scale J class? How did i not see that?
At some point they should make East broad top locomotives to actually pull all these cars they announce in On30.
This is a really decent announcement! Im now going to get some regular nyc hudsons to prepare for the dreyfuss!!!
If you ever think about reusing your streamlined Dreyfuss Hudson to make Connor it's best to use it with the scullin disk wheels since Connor has these wheels in the Thomas and Friends show and it'll look accurate to his CGI render.
Bachmann could bring back the original Mail Car, Oil Tank Car, Cream Tank Car, and Raspberry Syrup Tank Car sometime and make an HO Scale D261, D7101 (Bear, in his original blue and yellow livery), and Arthur.
More On30 please!! I would love to see a rerun of your Porter, Forney, Shay and Climax locomotives!
wow bachmann using Tsunami 2 decorders very nice!
I’m excited for NYC 20th Century Limited J3A Hudsons!
Exciting stuff in most scales! A little light on N scale, though. Wish I could have made it over to Grapevine. I'm only about 45 miles away but was tied up the entire weekend. ☹
I'm waiting for Thomas & Friends from 🇬🇧.
Hi Matt! WOW you work for Bachmann now? Crazy good.
I hope you consider doing the Empire Express silver and black hudson!
There are several key design differences in this version, as a result it will not be part of this run.
@@BachmannTrainsUSA Of course I understand, hopefully in a different run/catalog in future.
The ex-K-LINE O scale Evans Product covered steel coil car has to be produced again in additional railroad schemes like THE ROCK, GRAND TRUNK WESTERN, ELGIN, JOLIET & EASTERN, DETROIT & TOLEDO SHORELINE.
Bachmann’s the best it’s cheap but it’s still high quality
If you can make yong bao for the t&f ho scale line, you can modify and reuse and modify your bachmann china ho scale China Railways rm class 4-6-2 tender locomotive tooling (with a possible eye mechanism) to make yong bao and the blue yong bao from the "yong bao and the tiger" episode from bwba. And if you want to make Ferdinand you can always reuse (and slightly modify) your climax Class C locomotive tooling to make him. The possibilities are endless.
If Mattel lets you make smudger using rheneas' tooling, maybe you might make proteus using sir Handel's tooling.... if possible....
What's the point of excluding Thomas announcements from these product update videos? Seems kinda arbitrary to leave those out...
Agreed kinda pointless imo
Maybe they thought it would make sense to just discuss real trains in this one or they wanted to keep fans hyped. Who knows.
@@joshuaW5621yeah who knows
Since Thomas & Friends™ is a licensed product line, any material relating to the brand has to go through its own approval process.
@@BachmannTrainsUSA kinda weird, but thanks for telling us.
If you wanna make yong bao in ho scale reusing your rm class 4-6-2, you can make An-An and Yin Long by modifying your ho annie and clarabel models. The only modifications would be that the front windows of annie and Clarabel have to be removed and the faces are gray and in 3D.
I wonder if you will make two different tooling versions of the streamlined Baltimore and Ohio p7? a tooling for the royal blue and a different tooling for the cincinnatian? We'd all love that.
What's the delivery date for the HO scale ALC-42s? Also when can we see a Brightline set??
Nice! I'm adding new Bachmann Trains to my HO scale train collection soon. Most of my HO engines are ancient so im essentially starting over as of this week. I still need to upgrade my old HO train cars to make them fully compatible to modern couplers and my old EZ Track set is pretty much unusable at this point. I only have myself to blame because back when I was still a young kid I would literally race my HO scale trains around a huge railroad layout my dad and I would build every year for the holiday season. Needless to say there were quite a few engines that flew off track at such speeds that they almost put a hole in the wall. We had a ton of HO scale engines back then. Most of them are broken now. A few could be repaired potentially. I can say for a fact as an adult I won't be speeding on my new HO scale railroad any time soon. Gonna take it real slow for now. I'm picking up a Bachmann Rail Chief later today if weather permits there's a store nearby that may or may not still have one. If they don't, I will probably purchase a new Sante Fe HO scale train set online. The Sante Fe is my mom's favourite train and I'm sure she would love to share in the joy of a working Sante Fe model Train again. Should be fun.
Let's hope there will be Bachmann Murdoch soon
There won’t. Bachmann isn’t making model series locomotives for now due to Mattel’s demands.
@@joshuaW5621 Maybe someone will create a HO scale Murdoch body shell at shapeways
@@TrainsPicturesProductions well Hornby have made Murdoch, even though he’s rare.
Not happening
We all wish.
I want Surfliner cars.
I'll be interested in the B&O Thatcher Perkins, though I don't have a good feeling on the price...
Always check with your retailer before going off of our MSRP. Their price will almost always be lower.
your doing a fantastic job on dash 9s bought bnsf and ns this summer great trains. thanks
gscale
Glad you like them!
I'm excited to see this video!
Will you bring back the Amtrak metro liner, but in Dcc and sound equipped?
Hey Bachmann maybe you can reuse your hunslet austerity saddle Tank Engine tooling from the Bachmann Junior range and modify them with eye mechanisms so you can make Wilbert and sixteen. This gives you an opportunity to make Railway Series characters that are steam locomotives. This concept will be like reusing your Thomas and Percy toolings to make e2's and gwr avonside tank engines for the Bachmann Junior range except it's the other way around.
Tusnami sound in a bachmann loco , never would of heard of that 10 yrs ago
Hey Bachmann, I just got the new ez command plus control system and the red plug is not fitting into my terminal track. I previously ran my track with dc so I’m wondering if maybe you’ve changed the size of the red plug in cord’s square.
The plugs should be the same for either. Make sure to use moderate force when plugging it in if it isn't going in easily. If this doesn't work, try turning it over.
@@BachmannTrainsUSA Thanks, now that that is solved I have one other problem. Rather than twisting the now to make my train run I have to push down and twist which I’m sure isn’t supposed to be how you run your trains, do you guys have any advice for troubleshooting this problem?
When will you finish the Avelia Liberty set?
local company and decoder to PA! awesome
Do the cnr 4-8-4 u4a locomotives next
Hey Bachmann i have a important question. So i have a Bachmann DC controller and i was curious if Atlas Master locomotives could run with the bachmann controller
Yes, the Bachmann DC controller can operate any DC or dual-mode DCC locomotive in On30, HO, or N Scale.
Hey Bachmann, maybe you can reuse your br class 47 diesel so you can make the Railway Series character the works diesel.
I hope you guys will maybe do an HO scale Baltimore and Ohio streamlined p7 in two different shell toolings one for the royal blue and another for the cincinnatian
I can’t wait for them to release the Dreyfus Hudson in HO scale as I need to replace my Rivarossi Dreyfus Hudson
Wheres the Thomas & Friends news?
What month and day will the Bachmann Thomas announcements be coming up?
I am very excited for those J3as!
So are we! :)
Thank you for the announcements. When will the n scale Dreyfus Hudson be coming? It is a natural for you, and unlike in HO, nobody has ever really made a true version so it would be an exclusive. The new n scale Hudson runs well and so I do hope you make it soon.
Nice to see the new G scale stuff. Thought their might be something in F scale. Surprised that you didn't offer a dash 9 in the new UP 2022 scheme but glad you added SP. Keep up the good work. Oh ans is an easy install kit coming for railpro or blunamni for the dash 9s soon?
The new UP scheme hadn't yet been applied to any Dash 9s at the time of development for this announcement.
I thought the Dreyfuss Hudsons were a prank. I’m glad I was wrong. Will you guys consider engine 382 and don’t keep up the good work
Keep up the great work 😊
More Thomas & friends g scale please
Bachmann New York central
Hey, where's that new USRA 0-6-0 yall promised for the last 2 years? The one with an operational front coupler and sound?
These are being finalized as we speak. We hope to have them by late spring.
@@BachmannTrainsUSA of next year?
Disappointed that there’s STILL no sound on the Acela.
Maybe you can modify your double fairlie with buffers and turn it into into Mighty Mac and maybe the cut season 6 character little giant and you can use your Baldwin class 10-12-D 4-6-0T and use it to make stanley of the mid sodor railway. you can maybe reuse your class 46 peak diesel tooling (and modify it with an eye mechanism if possible) if you want to make d199 spamcan and you can make some Railway Series exclusive characters in oo/ho scale alongside with a cancelled character. And we would also love if you could make the popular one-time tvs-exclusive character smudger by repainting rheneas green and having a different face, which could mean the potential for an hon3 Duke and Bertram, both of which will be reused from the peco hon30 prince locomotive, though Bertram and smudger have the same face.
I still hope we see some White Pass Alco locos in On30 line. ZERO Williams BB?? Or a different video. WbB seems to have died???
Bachmann i have a question, im from nz and your train sets say that tgey cone equipped with us volt. Can nz volt work too?
Yes, they will work in NZ, as long as you use an NZ-compatible controller. The Bachmann Speed Controller is rated for US use, and we cannot guarantee that it will be compatible.
Oi what about the 009 narrow gauge diesels?
Hey bachmann? What will be the size of the 19th century 4-6-0?
Will the C36-7 feature ditchlights?
come on you have to do the Brightline charger
I wonder when the new 2-6-0 will come out!
Please, just any 19th century 4-4-0 in N scale that isn't based on Inyo. Something with at least 60" drivers, and a narrow wheel base that reflects the 1850s & 60s.
So I'm guessing anything new in Large Scale Narrow Gauge is dead and buried forever.
No Williams by Bachmann? What a shame.
Bring back the On30 Porters!!!!!
How much longer until your HO Scale Dash 8 locomotives??
These are expected in Spring 2024.
I recently heard you're making an HO scale streamlined Hudson with sounds and I wonder if you'll make more different Thomas characters using your existing toolings besides beau which was reused from your American 4-4-0 tooling? With your upcoming streamlined Hudson you might modify it into Connor modify your streamlined Pennsylvania K4 into shooting star Gordon to make it resemble the CGI render and the real-life counterpart your normal K4 into Hank maybe you can try to modify them to fit with an eye mechanism if possible your LMS class 2mt tank engine into Arthur maybe with or without a sand Dome (the latter requires modifications btw), your 9f 2-10-0 with br1G tender into Murdoch since he has that tender and everybody who doesn't have his Hornby model has been really wanting to get his Hornby model but couldn't because he's very rare and extremely hard to find and very expensive maybe if possible if you can use and or modify it to turn into Murdoch everyone can have an ho/oo Murdoch including me and maybe your class 40 diesels into d261 bowler and D40125 old stuck-up maybe try to modify them with eye mechanisms and it'll give you an opportunity to maybe make a Railway Series character or something.
