Checking Out the New MTB Trail in Blacksburg - Grinder

Today I went up to check out the new trail added at the top of Brush Mountain. This trail connects the bottom of Chasers up to Running Cedar so you can skip the long climb of the old road. Its about .5mi and is not a bad climb as it offers a ton of switch backs. It was less fun going down. Certainly not as good as going down Chasers. You can get to it from Pandapas by going up to the Fireroad. I went up Horse Nettle to Running Cedar which is about 1.5mile from the upper lot to get to Running Cedar. Then its a short maybe .1mile from there to get to Grinder.
