- I went back to the Pacific Northwest for a mid-year holiday, and went shooting up in the mountains. I got to shoot my Mosin Nagant M91/30, which was the first gun I ever bought. The receiver shows that this was made in 1944, although I don't know if the stock is original. Either way, it was a blast to get into nature and shoot this bolt-action rifle again!
bro this is so good. the scenery, cinematography and ofc mosin are all 👌
Thanks man!!
Hey James. Great video! I have been following your videos for a while and enjoy the military clones. I also have a M91/30 that was my first firearm. Something I will never get rid of and hope people like us won't either. Keep up the good work!
Hey thanks man! Yeah I totally agree with you; I never want to sell this gun. Too precious! Thanks for the kind comment!
The B roll was on point this video! Great content as always James!
Thank you!!
the first mosin i bought, i racked of 60 rounds of 54r in about half an hour. she got so hot that cosmoline and oil was seeping through the stock and she burnt my hand a few times. the next morning i had a massive bruise on my shoulder, that's when i fell in love with old ww2 guns. i still own that gun and i absolutely love it!
Hahahha oh man, yeah that brings back memories. I got a massive bruise as well. I had a small one after this vid. Such a great gun. I was at a LGS the other day and they were selling a hex receiver variant for $800… wtf… action was smooth as hell (for a Mosin) but damn lol
@@jamesshoots yeah unfortunately that’s standard pricing nowadays. I paid half that 6 years. Many new collectors are unfortunately getting priced out of the market because of other greedy people 🤷♂️
Amazing production quality, James, I Always enjoy seeing your content. Keep up the great work!
Hey thank you!!
I asked for this vid a while back! Awsome cinematography! Keep the rifle it'll be worth alot when your 80 lmao. Also cool to see you know the stripper Clip trick when loading
Hahaha I def thought of your suggestion when I made this! Yeah the stripper clip technique is super helpful!
Loved seeing a change in scenery! Have fun with your fams :)
Thanks brotha!!
Always a vibe in the editing department as usual
🙌🙌🙌
I'm loving your channel dude
Thank you for stopping by, brotha!
This looks like Buckley/Enumclaw area. I’m from around there
It’s in Granite Falls! I didn’t check out Buckley/Enumclaw yet for shooting when I lived in WA. Cle Elum is pretty good too from what I remember, but there are more people living there these days so it’s a little more difficult to find a safe/good spot
Nice gun but I hate how crude the sights are
I’m definitely spoiled by modern sights (or even sights from the same era that are just better). I always think of Call of Duty 2 when I aim down these sights lol
@@jamesshoots haha Ya
