they just gotta put a slight delay on their reaction time and lower their fire rate. would change tons already
On top of that, they have x-ray vision too and can see perfectly in the dark.

@@thewampire4640 Yup this happened to me too. I think I've accepted the fact that the suspect AI will never be tuned to make the game feel even.
All my officers quit, but i still have officers that follow me around lol

Yea you gotta finish the missions then they unlock
So anyone have problems equipping armour on? Don’t even have armour options to click and equip in the customisation at 2:26
Make sure you clear your mod folders, I had this issue too.

The game is still in beta but they slapped 1.0 on it to trick more people into buying it.

i kinda agree partially on this statement, now they jacked the price up since it's ''1.0'' and since they added some cosmetic option, mark my word we will soon see a bunch of micro transaction for cosmetic to milk this game even more.

Do you want to know some tip? First 2 Rainbox Six games had best AI. Rainbow Six Rogue Spear and Rainbow Six Raven Shield. Long time ago before Rainbow Six multiplayer games.

It’s caused by mods that you’ve installed through file editing, find the mid file in the game files and remove them. Alternative do a fresh install of the game without mods (completely vanilla), make sure you validate the game file after removing the mods, hope it helps!!

Mine is so bugged that I can't remove the mods, I've done it in every way and the mod indicator in the corner of the screen doesn't come out. I've even uninstalled the game, deleted the files and nothing works.

None so far, though hopefully balaclavas or any kind of face cover that doesn't require you to sacrifice your nvgs or anti-flash goggles will be added in the future
but they for some ungodly reason removed the ability to select the gamemode for each map wich ruins the replayability

some. maps are hit and miss but i bet alot of non map mods are broken

No, you cannot. They changed voiceover mod file formats from .wav to .ogg - so until modders address that, those will be broken for a bit. "pakchunk" mod files also recognize only 0-20 and if you have, say, pakchunk 99 game breaks (at least in my experience)
The Story never got added to the story mode, all the trailers were just pretentious art projects now

Not gonna lie, i tested the update today and IA of the squad is still pretty dumb... They managed to hide it for enemy IA with a insane quick response time to shoot but our team mate are so dumb its anoying. Must play solo or with friends otherwise its a pain in the...
Most of the police station is empty. Meaning there's nothing to do.
The game suffers from varying framerate.
The new swat ai has it's own problems. Such as they are too eager to cuff civs/suspects making themselves vulnerable.
The swat ai is also too eager to over extend.

He isn't wrong tho. I've played the update + I bought the game around the 26th in 2021. He didn't even mention that the enemy AI is extremely worse then before 1.0 came out.
This update is definitely good but it seems like they were just pushing the update out so people didn't get mad when they said it was going to come out at the end of the year.

The problem I have often is SWAT AI still don’t move out of my way. Case in point: when you enter a small room like toilet even just for a second, all 4 of them try to follow me in, blocked my door completely and refused to move even with the move command. Walk into them does nothing as well. They sometimes even told me I was in their way.
@Corey10002 the enemy ai is ok:ish. I think suspects stay too silent, and they can spot you very easily. The worst map postal is just atrocious to play since there's a lot of small holes and gaps everywhere, meaning once they get a glimpse of you, they instantly start shooting.
It's not clear whether they rushed an update. You could ask where are the trailer units and the ability spectate your swat ai finishing the mission.
I'm against these missing features because they add nothing of value to the game and they seem like things that are going to be super buggy.
There's more important stuff they should fix such as the maps,swat ai, briefing,progression,police station,performance,visuals...

Also: Now unkillable NPCs. New child in the first mission and the one that was already in the meth house cannot die/be killed anymore. Don't know about other instances at the moment.

Devs lost their balls somewhere along the development time. Afraid they will be "cancelled". So sick of these whiny little bastards. Wokeness has become a way to bully non-violently

Also you never hurt, mazed, tazed or shot a civilian in distress or because they would not comply in this game because it is morally le bad? Very noble of you.

Most of these style games have always had good AI on the player side. It's the enemy AI that makes or breaks the game and the enemy AI in RoN still looks extremely bland and like it would be boring after a couple rounds. The only thing that I've seen so far that makes RoN look like a good game is the players that are actually playing it. The ACTUAL GAME looks boring, but the tactics that the players use make it look interesting. I have yet to see anything exciting coming from the ACTUAL GAME. Feels like the enemy AI is coded with a 3 line IF statement.
why you critiquing a game youve never even played
I could give many examples of excellent enemy AI in this game but I’m not going to waste time to give examples as you seem to never have played the game and are speaking from video footage. If you want to really give this game a fair assessment I think you must play it yourself, preferably with a friend.

@@robjdrum Well, I don't mean to fit the stereotypes, but I was a former military member as well. I’ll give you a gameplay scenario. I was playing the “Valley of Dolls” with a friend. We reached a point in the mission where we had to breach a 2 door room. We couldn't use the mirrorgun to scope out the room so we didn't know what would be on the other side. We thought the best course of action would be to use a C2 explosion. We both stacked up and breached the door. Once we entered we saw 3 bodies lying lifeless on the ground from the explosion and we cleared the rest of the room. Once we turned our backs to leave the room one of the lifeless enemy AIs got up and shot my friend in the back, the enemy killed him and nearly killed me too. We were both extremely surprised at the scenario because we both swore that we reported the bodies. This situation is so complex because the AI picks up on your negligence as a player and it is an extremely common mistake to make when playing. The game is punishing you for your negligence while simultaneously teaching you about the real-life importance of checking bodies and covering blind spots at all times. In my 20 years of gaming, I have never played a game that made me think this deeply about enemy tactics. I feel that if you appreciate realistic close-quarter combat (CQC) scenarios, there isn’t anything better than ROR. Of course, it is not perfect but I feel that with time they truly will perfect the AI and create something special.
Insufferably overhyped AI update.

@@SwishActual the swat shooter they promised us, its more cut content that anything, AI is still broken, i would say more broken than before, most missions feel the same, no actual story or barely if there even is, swats teammates are just robots with randomly generated names and traits, the game in general feels like a generic tactical shooter, for example, streamer was supposed to be a normal simple ''tutorial'' mission and it would've been fine if it was you swatting some guy but no they just had to add a bunch of armed mercs for no reason, like theres actually no reason for them to be there its so stupid, and most missions are like that, they send a 5 man team with no reinforcements against a whole army of special forces religious fanatics that never surrender, the game is just not realistic, its stupid and overhyped
