Too many strikes with Storyblocks. Got tired of disputing them. I’ve lost a lot of revenue because of this service.

Why is it that when I use Storyblocks on my video and post on CZcams, I always get a Copyright on the music? What am I doing wrong?
Oh no! Are you posting directly from your LumaFusion export to the CZcams destination (where you'll need to be logged into a channel)?
If you export then upload to CZcams from your desktop, your Storyblocks assets won't be allowlisted. In that case we're happy to help with any copyright disputes.

@@LumaTouch question. How do you change the destination channel when uploading direct to CZcams?
It goes to whatever YT channel you're logged into on your device, and via LumaFusion--sometimes you might need to log out in both the CZcams app and via LumaFusion if you change ID's/channels.
I stopped using Storyblocks for lumafusion because I was always getting strikes from CZcams… so I looked someplace else and I had strikes no more.
Yeah, we know that was a big hassle for a while. We put in place the 'allowlisting' feature for videos uploaded directly from LumaFusion to your YT channel, which made a huge difference. There are also new in-app dispute forms if you do get a strike, and we+Storyblocks can help with it on the few that are still getting by. Thanks for stopping by!
Don't do it. They hit you with copyrights and then take forever to remove them. Love lumafusion for their integration. Maybe get another provider like artlist?

For most users--particularly those who upload directly to their YT channel from LumaFusion--strikes won't be an issue. And if you do get one, we have pretty streamlined processes in place to get them taken down.

@@LumaTouch I am subscriber to this and I've been waiting a week to have one taken down. In fact I've re-edited my video using another service. It's all I could do sorry. Oh and I always upload directly from LF for this exact reason but it doesn't help avoid copyright strikes.

Awful sorry to hear that. I think your experience is the exception rather than the rule, but I also know that doesn't help you much. We'll keep trying to get it better for everyone.

Hi there! In that case you are in the right, but unfortunately that's still possible to get a strike.
The short explanation is that if someone else has created a copyrighted work using some of the same assets you used (that they also licensed from Storyblocks), CZcams's copyright sniffing bots can identify your piece as infringing on that artist's copyright. It's a bit of a tangled web, and as far as we understand it affects most royalty free providers.
We and Storyblocks are doing everything we can to help streamline disputes, and if you do get them we can generally help you get them dropped before they cause you any trouble with monetization or get you in trouble with CZcams.
Bro a question When you subscribe to Storyblocks do you get charged immediately? Or does it have to be a month before they just charge you?

Long time customer. Would like the ability to dial out instruments like some other apps offer. Also some higher quality music like musicbed offers would be nice, even if at a slightly more premium price, than the standard cost.

Hi, I want to use videos, music and sound effects from story blocks of lumafusion. But I want to do editing in some other software so I won't be uploading directly from LumaFusion to CZcams. Will I get copyright strikes from CZcams? Also tell how to take one month free subscription. I cannot see the option on my iPad.
Hi there, and thanks for the note. That shouldn't be an issue as far as licensing, but if you upload from your desktop you won't benefit from the 'allowlisting' feature, which for Storyblocks for LumaFusion users significantly decreases potential for copyright strikes.
That doesn't mean you WILL get strikes; it's actually not all that common in practice. And if you do see a strike, we still have a fairly streamlined and reliable process for getting it lifted, and we'll support you in that as well.
To get the first month free, just choose a clip from LumaFusion's Storyblocks Library (that is not marked "FREE"), place it on a Timeline, and you'll see an in-app purchase pop-up, which will give the details and enable you to subscribe with the first month free. Thanks again and happy editing!
unfortunately I could not find a way to filter footage by frame rate. Because I want to create a project in 25fps, I am interested in footage that fits this frame rate, too.

1) My question is , Story blocks is not meant to used on multiple devices right? Explain
2) For example - if I have my story blocks account in my laptop and some-day my laptop stopped working , what should I do because you said it not meant to be used on multiple devices.

1) Storyblocks can be used on as many devices as you have logged in under the same user ID (up to 10 on Apple devices and similar number on Android/Chrome)
2) I’m sorry you got the impression it’s not to be used on multiple devices; please see #1 above ^^
3) Yes, you can.
4) To access education licenses, your school’s IT admin will be able to get you sorted-it’s not accessible by individual users separate from a participating institution.

Hi there! Thanks for using LumaFusion, and Storyblocks! If you have a CZcams channel, log into it on your device. Then in LumaFusion, export your project as a video, with CZcams selected as the destination. Bingo--that's it! Your channel will be 'allow listed', and this will dramatically reduce the chance of you getting a copyright claim.

What about Facebook videos that contains storyblocks sounds? This is the main reason for me to not subscribe this service.

--and again, if you get a strike somewhere, we have a pretty streamlined means of getting it taken care of, usually without disrupting monetization, etc.
