Glass is only half of the picture when it comes to energy efficiency. Choosing the right frame material is just as important. Jeff does a walk and talk going through the most common window frame material when considering energy efficiency. He talks about their strengths, weaknesses, and the ideal use case for each window material. This video will add clarity to help you make the right choice when choosing a window material that gives you the best value and the best efficiency.

The voice break while you were saying the word “break” (DYC Aluminum segment) was subtle genius!

Yes, Cardinal is a great glass but I also like the glass offered by Provia...I have the Endure windows in my home with the DLA-UV glass, perfect non distorted image and a beautiful aesthetic look....

Thanks for the video. Unfortunately, there are no Marvin Infinity dealers that service my area. But there is a lumber store in my area that sells Marvin Essential, Elevate, and Signature. I think in one of your videos you said that Marvin Essential was more like "Chevy" and that Infinity was more like "Cadillac". In another video, you said that you much preferred Marvin Infinity over Pella Impervia. But since I only have Marvin Essential available to me in my price range, which do you recommend for composite windows in the Northeast U.S. climates, Marvin Essential or Pella Impervia?
    Thanks!

I've sold Marvin Infinity, it features cardinal glass and is a very strong frame (which is a moot point since it is not load bearing) but it carries a low expansion rate, despite their claim of scratch resistant they do scratch (seen them get scratched during install)...a very expensive product...I would also recommend Endure by Provia...sold them for years...outstanding product with lots of very nice features.
