  • This a different way of making the cutlets instead of deep frying.
    Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey(can be chicken or beef)
2 small potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
1 tbs olive oil(or any oil you prefer)
    1 tsp chopped ginger
    3 sliced green chilis
    salt to taste
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    1 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp garam masala
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c bread crumbs
Boil the potatoes, peel once it's cool, mash it and set it aside.
Beat 3 eggs and set aside also.
Heat oil in a skillet, add ginger and green chilis. Sauté then add onion. Sauté then add salt and turn flame to low. Add turmeric powder and black pepper and sauté on low. Add garam masala then turn stove off. Add the ground turkey, mix and add one of the beaten eggs and combine well. Add the mashed potatoes and mix well. Place bread crumbs in a plate and keep the two beaten eggs close to it. Preheat oven to 350*. Make oval shaped patties with the meat mix then dip in the beaten egg first then the bread crumbs. Place the patties on a greased baking tray. Bake at 350 for 30mins. Turn patties over after 30mins and bake for another 10mins. Cutlets are ready!
*Ovens vary so you might have to adjust the baking times.
You can make a simple sauce to serve this with by thinly slicing red onions and green chilis. Add salt, vinegar and mix well. Enjoy it with your cutlets!

Looks good. Do you have a recipe for a Kerala beef fry made with soya or something? I tried one from online recipe with soya chunks which did not turn out good. Thanks.
