The other (more important) reason is because it can fly off your roof as a projectile and cause accidents/damage to someone else's vehicle. Seen that happen in these videos plenty of times.

2:13 - I just don't get it. For at least 15 seconds, you see that the guy in front of you is drunk, but stay right behind him.

The 1st video I've seen happen before, moss on the ramp causes loss of traction sliding him back into the water and the boat hooked on with it buoyancy lift the truck up and further pulls it out. If he has 4WD he may get out, but likely needs a tow. This person is unfortunate, not an idiot...

the snow falling onto the windshield from the roof I have been there scared the hell out of me, ever since then I ALWAYS brush ALL the snow off my car not just the glass and hood/trunk!

@@Br3ttM itâs not always the tires tho, if the snows been impacted down enough it turns into ice then snow on top of it makes it hard to see, leading to sliding around. thatâs why iâm always going the limit or a few under in the snow bc you really never know whatâs there

Guy at 5:40 has dementia. Not only is his car a different make and model, itâs a completely different color.
Brain fart, other things on his mind, his other car is a black Acura, it's his friend's car, loaner from his mechanic, drives several different vehicles, or they are both his and he just grabbed the wrong keys. In fact, I'm starting a petition to get this clip removed because I don't think he's an idiot and he wasn't in a car.
