From what I've read of the reporting, Derrick White was already selected as an injury replacement as soon as the roster was announced. But way to go, Jaylen, that's a nice way to make friends with potential sponsors, aside from putting your own teammates in an awkward position. That will be an interesting training camp heading into next season.

A no trade clause aint some lifetime achievement award. You are worth what buyers are willing to pay for you. PG already had a way better offer from the 76ers, so it was normal to ask for something valuable enough to match the huge difference between the offers.

As a clippers fan, it’s the least he can do. I was pissed he was even selected and going to play to begin with. He literally just watched his team get eliminated 1st round in the playoffs from the sidelines AGAIN. Lost our second best player for absolutely nothing too. We should’ve traded PG13 to the Warriors and traded Kawhi for assets this season instead of offering a new max contract so we can finally rebuild properly as a franchise. I honestly would’ve liked to keep PG13 and trade Kawhi, I didn’t want him to leave…

All jokes aside. I understand choosing Derrick White when it comes to fit. He's more locked in on defence, will stand in the corner and shoot threes at a high clip, and is a more generous passer. He's proven that he can play his game and get his numbers while deferring to more ball-dominant players. He also makes game-changing plays on the defensive end.
Jaylen and his monocle emojis demonstrated that he's not a team-first guy. As a leader he should express happiness for his teammate, not suggest that he's less worthy. That's a pretty bad look, in my opinion.
