    i'm always surprised by how beautiful moths are. they're like little fantasy creatures with their round shapes and button eyes, covered in fur as colorful and bright as bird feathers with huge flexible wings like soft blankets & graceful looking antennae... underrated beasts imo

      i agree, i hate how most ppl think moths are just the ugly things that fly around your lamps and eat your clothes but they are gorgeous

      I've started calling them "real dragons" because they're the closest we'll probably get (besides pterosaurs) they are the only living animal with 2+ limbs AND wings

    i understand you’re trying to capture flight specifically, but if you’ve got any footage of the moths (or any bug really that wouldn’t fly just walking, i’d love to see it! it’s hard to observe how their feet move with how fast they walk, and it’s something i’m very curious about

    Ant Lab slow mos are an instant watch, every time. I love how the beetles stick their legs way out. I imagine a little "weeeeeeeee".

    I absolutely love your videos, you are doing amazing work and you are appreciated. Could you consider filming a Clearwing Hummingbird Moth (Hemaris thysbe) taking off/drinking nectar in midair? The drinking nectar in midair might be too much of a challenge but I really think you amd everyone else would enjoy seeing Hemaris thysbe up close and in slo-mo 💜

    I've been subscribed to your channel for some time. Love your content. I just can't get enough of bugs, beetles, etc. I've had a Calosoma scrutator beetle fly out my window once.A very strong flyer. I've kept them as pets back between 2010 2013 Hardy pets if done right.Salute!
