i'm always surprised by how beautiful moths are. they're like little fantasy creatures with their round shapes and button eyes, covered in fur as colorful and bright as bird feathers with huge flexible wings like soft blankets & graceful looking antennae... underrated beasts imo
I agree!😁🪲
i agree, i hate how most ppl think moths are just the ugly things that fly around your lamps and eat your clothes but they are gorgeous
I've started calling them "real dragons" because they're the closest we'll probably get (besides pterosaurs) they are the only living animal with 2+ limbs AND wings
Unlike butterflies, with their gross fly eyeballs 🤢

i understand you’re trying to capture flight specifically, but if you’ve got any footage of the moths (or any bug really that wouldn’t fly just walking, i’d love to see it! it’s hard to observe how their feet move with how fast they walk, and it’s something i’m very curious about
Agreed 100%
Would love to see some derpy moth walking
2:16 love how it's waving hi to us. Very polite moth, 100/10.
Ant Lab slow mos are an instant watch, every time. I love how the beetles stick their legs way out. I imagine a little "weeeeeeeee".
Dude your videos are so comforting. Everytime i get depressed i always watch these to remind myself how beautiful life is
Its amazing how these insects fly. And I can't imagine how much work you put into a single shot let alone making this amazing collection of beautiful shots.
it's hardly work when you are having fun!
@@AntLab .
true . ♡ 🦋
I was one of those people who liked Butterflies, but not moths. Only in recent time I've realized how magically beautiful Moths are.
2:12 I love how thie Polyphemus moth looks like a griffin from this angle. The moths are so cute and all the insects are beautiful in their own way. Thanks for this informative and wonderful video!

Seeing all this amazing bugs in such details and glory is a straight up gift

Dude the artistry of these slow motion videos is just beautiful. Super nerdy and I appreciate that.
Thank you for not only providing amazing footage but informative commentary as well. Those moths were really beautiful, and pretty cute too!
never thought videos about insects would be so calming but it is nonetheless and i love appreciating them 😂
I love how some moths seem to know they are being filmed, and they start waving with their little feets at the camera before taking off. Almost like they're saying Farewell.
I really enjoy your videos. The music, the amazing insects in slow motion and your explanation are really hypnotizing. This is awesome
I love these videos, something about the music and slow motion movement of the animals is so calming. it's like brain therapy
So glad we got more moth footage from you! As someone who raises moths its always so cool to see your camera show what look like a blur to me.
I didn't even imagine moths could be this beautiful....😍😍😍😍😍
I absolutely love your videos, you are doing amazing work and you are appreciated. Could you consider filming a Clearwing Hummingbird Moth (Hemaris thysbe) taking off/drinking nectar in midair? The drinking nectar in midair might be too much of a challenge but I really think you amd everyone else would enjoy seeing Hemaris thysbe up close and in slo-mo 💜
Haven't come across one recently, but I would definitely film one if I have the opportunity!
@@AntLab dope, you're awesome man thank you for all you do 🤙🏽
The flight mechanics, smooth or otherwise, are simply stunning. Thank You for bringing these revelations to our thirsty eyes. I cannot get enough of your works.......as a scientist, too (Physicist), it is impossible to turn away at such beauty.

4:53 it's front claws look like hands, it's like it's rubbing it's hands together like it's getting ready, very polite 100/10
What amazing creations they are.
I've been subscribed to your channel for some time. Love your content. I just can't get enough of bugs, beetles, etc. I've had a Calosoma scrutator beetle fly out my window once.A very strong flyer. I've kept them as pets back between 2010 2013 Hardy pets if done right.Salute!
