Making a fast M1A2 ABRAMS RC tank, Smog function 1/35 scale, Henglong 5.3 Use a control board.

  • The manufacturer's kit is MENG's 1/35 scale M1A2 ABRAMS TUSK2.
    Henglong 1/16 Tank 5.3 Control Board was used and made of metal track and metal worm gear.
    We used 180 motors to run fast speed and power.
    The gearbox was made by printing a 3D printer.
    There is a smog function at the back.
    360-degree turret rotation, gun launch sound, and recoil function Machine gun sound and chip LED light emitting gun.

    does the 5.3 board and 7.0 board are the same size ? im planning to apply 7.0 board for my t80, but im afraid it wont fit inside my tank

      Version 7.0 is larger than version 5.3.
      I haven't tried applying it to the t80 tank, but it looks like there's a good chance it can be used.

      구독 감사드립니다.😃 95% 유화물감 블랙, 화이트 조금씩 혼합 해서 면봉과 휴지로 문지르고 닦아내는 것을 반복해서 작업했습니다.
      건조하는데 상당히 오랜 시간이 소요되었구요 5%는 실버색상의 유성도료(아카데미)를 기관총, 경첩 부분에 사용했습니다.

    Hi, another question. can this compact worm gear gearbox layout running in low speed like a real tank? i bought the 7.0 board and planning to apply on my T80U /35 the exact same brass worm drive gear layout as on your abrams, but the different is mine using the weaker 130 motors, i wonder if this kind of gearbox able to accelerate well in low speed, this worm gear layout provide much more free space for the larger battery and speakers, so im planning to try apply it, the gears is in shipping from China

      It's not in the video, but I've tested it indoors with a 6.0S board with a high-quality 180 motor.
      The movement at low speeds was a true work of art.
      It would be better if you set the 7.0 board to low-speed mode and operate it.
      I've never tested it with a 130 motor, so it's hard to give you an exact answer.
      If you had to guess, the motor could be broken.
      Look at the 1:20 mark in the video. The 180 motor on the left doesn't work.
      For reference, this is a 5.3 board without proportional control.
      In other words, I don't think the 130 motor can withstand a voltage of 7.4v.
      Please share the production process or the finished product.😅😅

      i probably will use the worm gear layout, due to it extremely compact size
      im using a special 3-9v QX-FF-130 motors, which it work fine at 7.3v and around 12000 RPM at 3.7v according to the manufacturer.
      haven't make any video about my second T80U yet because this BIG project now still on the procurement stage.
      im about to start the manufacturing of the running gear this weekend when 3d printed parts and metal tracks arrived.
      also, this is the group project, i am working on the running gear, torsion bar, track tension adjuster, gearbox, track links, the kit, the 3d printed parts.
      While my brother working on the electrical system (henglong board), battery, turret ring, turret lifting system, leds, paintjob,
      this is two man job so hopefully it take only 1-2 months to finish
      of course we will share the development progress on my channel :)

    N20모터 몇볼트 짜리 사용하셨나요?

      3.7v 보드를 사용하면 3v 모터를 사용, 4.7v~7.4v 보드를 사용하면 6v 모터를 사용합니다.
      보드에 따라 탱크를 선택하기도 하고 탱크 내부 사이즈에 적합한 사이즈의 보드 또는 모터 등을 선택합니다.

      헝롱보드는 몇볼트를 사용하나요?
      타미야트윈기어박스에 들어있는 모터를 헝롱 보드에 적용 가능할까요?

      @@user-ji6hs7ml9m 헝롱은 기본적으로 7.4v입니다.
      타미야 트윈기어박스에 사용할 수 있습니다. 다만 사이즈가 크기 때문에 헝롱보드 + 트윈기어박스가 탱크 내부 홀에 장착이 가능 여부는 정확히 알 수 없습니다.
