@@PhthaloGreenskin You’ll also need to find an air compressor, and then a well-ventilated room to airbrush (air compressor noise and paint fumes)

I wouldnt call this easy when it involves glazing
Only problem i seem to have with painting things like this is i sometimes have a hard time finding which colours work best with eachother.
The alternative is to practice blending paints together. Then you'll always have a good highlight color.
The trick is you mix paints it will never really be the same, this is starting to get into the more ‘art’ side of miniature painting

I use macragge blue for the base coat or ultramarines blue if I'm using contrast

I won't lie, theres nothing fast about this, its cool as fuck though.
Its definitely fast. I think dunking a model in contrast paint and calling it a "fast paint job" is a bit of a joke
@@MaverickNicolson Its like everything, do it properly, or 'well', and the speed will come naturally. With effort equalling results, it's definitely fast. I really like this method.

@@thomasstenson350 you might have too much water on your brush or you’re just doing 1 coat. Remember two thin coats

Easier way: prime blue, paint the gold trim, be done.
I tried these two paints on macragge blue and it looks bad, but I’m awful at painting

I just can't spend this much time on a troops choice lol
I wouldnt say it's fast neither it is easy ... I would advise to buy an airbrush if you want to do the same result in (at minimum) half the time.
Aren't the smurfs blue and gold?
Why does no one use oils? It's so much easier and newbie friendly. It also looks better. Glazing and acrylics can't hold a torch to oil blending.
