Nice. Been expecting the guides to return. I use your guides as a way to find core mechanics and synergies between the kameo and shao, then I start experimenting with him, quite a fun process. I´ve been meaning to ask something since your Shao guide now that we´re a bit deep in the game now. I think that many Shao players will find quite nasty stuff once they get down the "axe returning mid combos" tech. I´ve found that a lot of the better damaging combos are located there. I think it might be worth for you (as a top-skilled competitor who can actually take advantage of this stuff) to explore this mechanic and try to exploit it (wether with kameos or just Shao). @@Indigoism96 I know. It’s just that rather than just learning and showing a few setups, It would be sick to see like an in depth guide of the mechanic. Explaining how long it lasts for the axe to return, the inputs that trigger it (walking or dashing is usually enough but would jumping work?), does it trigger exactly after the timer or can it be triggered before. I think that would make people lab the setup and start finding some awesome stuff.
I honestly forgot dickhead policeman had other kameo moves besides grenades. And I also forgot they're all fantastic moves. I'm gonna need to brush up with Stryker and utilizing his full kit! Thanks for the guide and hope you feel better soon!
I love all the lab monster content for Papa Shao. I’ve still be rocking Sector mainly for the armor break setups. But there’s some good tech here. Thank you. Keep em coming man!
@@riotkelly5783 he shows it off in the Sector synergy video and the games he plays with him. If you end in DF2 you call Sector rocket just before he slams them and then you can break armor with 22 into combo. Or F122 for combo. It works on axless too but it’s a little harder timing. I do the 223db3 combo. You input 223 call sector before the knee hits then do the db3. If you get the timing right you can break armor with f2 over head.
@@riotkelly5783 just time your missile so it lands on wakeup and at the same time hit them with one of your faster buttons. It'll break any armor in the game, outside of Havik and Ashrah. Sektor can do this with anyone, not just Shao
These are really quality videos, thank you. But it is blasphemy that you didnt still make synergy guide with Goro and Motaro! Since that is boss team and it makes sence lore wise. He has really nice synergy with Goro overall and nice setup with Motaro's fireballs.
You can actually get the combo into 3 way guess anywhere if you do his normal combo and after axe slam 2,2 call striker you will have to walk forward a little but they,re in the same setup Plus you can do block string, axe slam, grenades and there in the 3 way guess. If they don’t respect the grenades you get full 380 combo most of the time(sometimes they backdash or something and it puts them out of range)
Shao needs buffs but then again he doesn’t. Dyloc was whippin sonic at ECT with shao almost beat him. But in the end BUFF SHAO. 😅 my grandmother always used to give me a spoonful of horseradish to clear up my cold. 😂💀💯 trust me it works

@@weed_houzedude you’re dooming way to hard lmao his neutral is not as bad you say considering he has the second best stand 2 in the game and a good overhead/low mix. Overhead can be made safe with Kameo. Also there’s no such thing as useless plus frames. You just don’t know how to use them apparently to keep pressure or start setplay with axe down. You’re also smoking dick if you think his D3/4 are terrible. He also has the most armor moves in the game, he has multiple way to steal turns back. Only actual problem he has are bad mids.
