This is great for new drivers who don't get practice with their parents or friends. At least I can learn from your videos and try to implement them when I am at the driving school

DRIVING TIPS-
Keep your foot on the brake at a complete stop. It will usually move a little without applying gas, unless you hold it down.
Curves and pulling through easily-
Keep your eyes on the corner, do not brake unless your going too fast, brake only in the road where it is still straight, release the gas about 2 car lengths before the start of the curve, at the middle of the curve, add a little bit of gas to pull you through the corner. Maintain control. Don't move your hands as much as looking ahead and your arms will automatically go a few inches in the direction of the curve. Pivot on your heel back and forth between brake and gas, with your toes and pad of the foot. Do not lift your foot back and forth. It will make you tired faster. You could accidentally slip off the pedal and hit the opposite one you want at that moment, causing an accident. Control your pressure on the pedals with only toes and pad area, not your heel. Your foot does not need to cover the entire pedal. Be consistent in the gentle pressure you apply. Don't get scared and back off if you went too fast, unless you're in danger. It causes the car to jump or shift incorrectly and that can be a little scary. Then safely make decisions based on your surroundings.
Anxiety-
Try listening to soft music, that is not loud enough to understand the words, so it's not a distraction. You can also hum, with no music playing, so if you need to have silence to turn in a driveway, parking lot, etc, you stop humming and it's faster than fiddling with the radio. Make sure you are sitting up straight in your driver's seat. Do not slouch, if you're back hurts, roll up a sweatshirt to be a tube of comfort for your lower back. Put rubber bands around it, to hold it's shape.
You can also talk out loud of everything your driving is doing or you see.
For example-
"Red car pulled into restaurant parking lot." "Lady with stroller waiting at crosswalk." "Blue car coming up on left my blind spot, don't change lanes." "Red squirrel ran in front of me but made it across already." "Check my mirrors." "Who's behind me?" "A big pickup and they're too close." "Do I have space to brake without getting rear-ended?"
After a few weeks, your brain will process everything without you speaking. The anxiety will be less as well. Even if you're only mumbling, your brain is still going to be better about what your eyes are processing.
@@missfujiwara3011 thanks for this. I do know that driving a car is like riding a bike, it all becomes muscle memory, but its learning that's making it hard. so thanks for the tips! :D

You r so right about that never got taught to drive growing up literally taught myself and these videos God is good
i had my first driving lesson yesterday and this was the hardest part, those pedals are sensitive as fk lol
IKR, I had my first lesson last week and in my city the limit is 25mph but I was easily going over.
ASD ASD no sh*t
Depends on the power to weight ratio of the car. The car must be very light with a somewhat powerful engine.
Haha. Maybe you just HV A heavy foot. #Joke
Couldn’t have said it any better yo
just had my first driving lesson today and i didn’t know it was a lot sensitive than the race carts😭...really thankful that my instructor is so patient

I'm 37, I've only just started learning to drive in the last few years, because I've always had a comfortable life. Do you have any tips on how to be relaxed and calm while driving ? I suffer from anxiety and get really negative and nervous and lose confidence easily
Hakane Nichi same especially driving in NYC
Same been driving for a while now and if I dont drive for a few days I freak out and get horrible anxiety. Today I drove for the first time in like 5 days and my anxiety showed again
You need to practice driving in an open area every now and then, it will ease your driving and your body will react more relax than ever.

I had my 10th session of in-car lesson, and it’s hard for me to control or maintain a constant speed. And not being able to control the gas and break pedals gave me less confidence behind the wheels whatever maneuver I did, going ahead, turning left or right, specially in following or maintaining the speed limit. Thank you for posting this video. Next week, I will try this technique.

Great energy
Can u please do the video on how to check the mirror, blind spot and the steps to check. N how to set the mirrors please. Thamks a lot sir .
This Video is amazinggggg, it made me understand it better, thank you
HEY EVERYBODEEEEE! THIS IS SOOOO HELPFUL AS A BIGGINER
Your video was well explained!
You're are awesome, great videos
great teaching.
My 4 cylinder Nissan Altima’s gas pedal is so touchy you have to focus all you attention on not squealing the tires. This video helped me a lot, I can control the gas a lot better. Thank you.
Needed this video so bad! My siblings teach me how to drive but never fully cover the breaks and gas and each way to use it! Thank you! 💕💕😩😤
Very helpful indeed!
Thank you sooo much, you're simple the best.
This is helpful for me and other people
This is great. Thank you!
You have helped me soo much man I dunno if you see this but God bless you
You hv helped another my God bless you sir
This videos helps alot👍
Thank you so much, this is what I really need to understand, it will be better if you do an example on the highway so I can take it properly
Thank you 🙏 so much, it’s helpful for me as a new driver.

Supeeer helpful. Thank you so much. I'm definitely going to keep trying this tip.
Pushing the gas pedal gently, until reaching the speed you'd want & holding it there. Braking as gently needed, and repeat. This was my only issue when it came to driving (maintaining consistent desired speed whilst driving: but surprisingly was perfectly driving slowly for K-turns & curves & good parking: just on the road speed is what mattered most to me), but I only learnt & improved with the basics for the first time yesterday.

@@missfujiwara3011 Genuinely such an amazing person, thank you very much. I even am commenting this at 11:11 (an synchroncity time), I appreciate the kind gesture truly. I feel the last tip of speaking outloud 'the atmosphere movements going on is also really helpful for when I pass my road test & have my license. Lol may be something to consider, even if mindfully noting of when driving. Thank you again! 💛 I'll be catching up on some practice drives, to take in my road test likely sooner than later, and may it go well. I'll keep some of these tips in mind. Especially about letting the car roll about 2 car lengths before turning to a curve, gently pressure on gas to make the turn,* while looking ahead. Sounds great. As well as the last tip, and keeping steady on the brakes when at a complete stop (something I accidentally slipped up doing one time lol cause I improperly adjusted my seat 😓 my past beginner's mistakes).
When i was at point where I never drove a car before and my 1st lesson came I was just gentle to pedals and didn't have any problems at all.
I got a driver's licence just a few days ago and I will be driving automatic instead of manual so I came here to check if there are differences between those. Looks like I'm good to go ^^' Anyway, you are nice teacher. Instructions are simple and easy to understand. I think you are just a little bit too loud haha

very interesting thanks for the vid
I face a big big problem, in gas control, majorly in 3 areas- main cause is i get diverted because of many steps to remember while making the below mentioned manevouer ( steps, coming to a stop or making a angle before turning right or left, looking mirrors, looking blind spot) which takes all the focus from gas pedal and then i make mistakes in giving gas at a correct speed or holding it at a correct speed
1. while turning i accelerate more and 2. while lane change i release the accelerater slowing down the speed and which brings the speed too low and i know the consequences that i m not maintiaining the speed with others and 3. while driving on the staright road there is speed limit to maintain, where i m not able to hold the accelerator, i keep pressing and releasing the accelerator to maintain the speed
Me too lol..with the turning a s such :(..I need to go for my road test soon too lol
@uh best of luck!! Parallel parking honestly sucksss..a few of my friends said their instructor never made them do parallel parking idk hiw true that is but hopefully I get lucky like them 😂I havent scheduled mine yet because I literally cannot drive good haha but I do plan to learn a lot and take my road test in February or early March *fingers crossed* .. let me know how it goes !

Krupa- Howdy. When changing lanes, don't let up your gas pedal, if you see the space available, you're only transitioning into that space. Watch out for people braking in front when you get behind them.
Do NOT ANGLE your car or tires for a turn, left or right, if you were rear-ended, you could end up in the opposite lane and hit easily.
Karina- Rest your heel on the gap between the gas and brake, where you can touch them both, not at the same time, but just the top half of the foot. Then there is no holding it up and much less cramping or getting tired. Read post above.
is this the same directions for when going straight at an intersection? Because two times I accelerated and there was always another car at the right trying to get into the intersection right after for some reason

How do I know when I have the acceleration that I want?
okay i had the problem on the gas pedal so i will try this....thanks..
Thx man
I was searching for this video and now I found it.thank you .
My teacher did not tell how to control it and he scolded me like anything ,as i was driving for first time.

Thank God I have my license now

Thanks for great videos. Why don't we use left foot for the brake? Wouldn't it easier for beginners who mistake gas and break when they get anxious?
Anxious would make them press both pedal if use both feet
@@nat_528 Yeah, I believe he mentioned it in another video on how to use your pedals but I believe he said he was using a Honda CRV and not a Mazda like he is using in this video.

I’ve done my first driving lesson but sadly I don’t have anyone to teach me how to drive it’s a different experience from watching a video by doing it reality. I didn’t do that bad the only thing is controlling my gas pedal although my speed was really good. It’s just I hate being nervous.
That seems to be good I need to drive haven't took my lesson yet

Can you show me a video on how to control my speed suddenly on the rd meaning i am going at say 15km but around the bend is 20
Well that’s where you judgment comes in hand. If you see a corner coming up on the road you need to act before you get there and prepare for the corner. So all you have to do is let your foot off the gas pedal a bit and the car will start to slow down and you can take your corner. If you gotta do it quick best thing you can do is steer hard but within control don’t hit the brake cause you’ll lose control once you are safe slow the car back down

So do you just keep your foot in there and not take it off? Cuz for some reason (prolly just me) if I keep holding my foot in the gas pedal (without pushing) it’s still increasing speed.
😂😂 bro it probably because you have the car in drive its always going to be moving unless your holding the break all the way down
