The N80 Hilux gets +30 injectors

This week we fit +30 injectors to the N80 Hilux
Still running stock intake and exhaust but on 33” tyres, we get some awesome gains
I will have to get time to run it on stock tyres so keep an eye on our socials to see the results

Hi mate. When tuning the hilux auto can you also unlock the autos so you can use 5th and 6th in low range. Sometimes working out of the hilux with a lot of stop start in the bush but the need for low range it would be handy not going constantly from high to low to high etc.

I'm tuned with an ultimate torque package from UDT. UDT hi-flow Turbo, UDT 3" exhaust + Gutted, PWR intercooler. Dyno shows 145kw and 530nm, stock was 91kw and 360nm.
It's just on 200hp at the moment. It's a daily, but maybe only 2-3 times a week, but every weekend it tows our 3.1t caravan.
With the +30 injectors, I'm assuming i'll need a retune as well. Do you have a ball park on the power increase from them with my other mods?
In a perfect world, I'd love 2 tunes. 145kw for towing, and beyond for getting to work on time.

The new N80 has come along way since the N70.
We have done a few N70’s. The last was +30’s and a 3” exhaust, went from 90kw to 128kw and 278nm to 393nm. That’s a 40% increase, you can upgrade turbo for more.
We have done a hiace (same engine) with a GTurbo and injectors, it’s awesome.

Everything haha. More power, more torque and still have awesome fuel economy. Just because it has bigger injectors doesn’t mean it uses a tonne of fuel, but when you want the fuel it’s there.

I have a question? Why is the car not level, test the horsepower on the wheels

It’s a 2wd dyno so have to have ramps to get on it. Angle of car won’t change horsepower. The dyno is testing the power at the wheels but recorded in kilowatts. You can convert to horsepower easily enough kw x 1.34 = HP

Yes this is the Gen3. But the specs Toyota give are at the motor not at the wheels. So you need to account for drivetrain loss and wheel size.
