Words cannot describe the feeling of a total eclipse. It's as if someone pulled a curtain in front of the sun during the day. Everyone should make it a mission to witness a total eclipse.
Totality began at 8:37:47 am and ended at 8:39:52 am

The Gopro cameras were setup in the non-waterproof freedom360 rig attached to a monopod pole mounted on a tripod
To view the real impact of this video watch it using your smartphone on a Virtual Reality headset - Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR to an Oculus Rift.
- Recorded using 6 GoPro Hero 4 Black - filming at 2.7k - 30fps protune mode

I'm in my bed in the middle of the night, uncomfortably twisting around like an idiot. It is only at the end of the video my finger accidentally brushes the screen, and I realize that I can scroll around 360 degrees just by touching the screen.

+Between Myself and Others Same as well haha, I always did it on Facebook but when I tried on CZcams I didn't do it right so I thought it wasn't like that for CZcams until I realized I wasn't really pressing the screen right, I was in an uncomfortable position trying to watch what was going on lmao.
Emily Tall haha yes I was half asleep, all comfortable. Then the video starts, and the guy walks behind me. I was like "You've got to be kidding me." Twisted around, found a good view, then off he goes again. Meanwhile I'm looking like a flopping fish on land in my bed trying to see this thing. It was cool though still.

This is the first 360 video i have seen of a total solar eclipse with a crowd. What is incredible is that you can relive it over and over again, from different angles, seeing the reactions of everyone. Often during totality you feel like you want to have eyes everywhere, but there isn't time. Overall, the most powerful totality video I've seen. Thanks so much!

Lol. I just don't understand. Its a shadow. Nothing scary about a shadow to me. I don't see any difference between a solor eclipse and a sunset. Yeah the eclipse is due to the moon passing in front of the sun, but that happens all the time, you just don't see it cause we're not in line with it. If you guys are terrified of a couple minutes of a shadow, what the hell do you do at night? I find the fact that we are living on a giant rock traveling through space with the possibility of getting slammed by another space rock and whiping us all out, Something possible, to be a scary idea, not a damn shadow.
