It's also why rich people won't give their money away, cause although they're still not satisfied they also don't want to lose what they've already got.

I guess it’s her portrayal of how easy it is to whip things up from scratch which is unrealistic. Personally i am neutral towards her. I think her shtick is of an asmr type of content. Not my cup of tea, but there are people who find it relaxing to watch. And some who appreciate the inspiration.
It’s a double edged sword because on one hand she’s creating wholesome content but on the other, her content has a disingenuous effect contributing more towards consumerism than anything of great value to society in my opinion. Especially the shopping corn, which is a blatant show off of the haves vs the have nots.

People aren’t “hating on her”. They are simply calling her out for being full of herself and full of shi! If she was really about cooking she would be passing on skill, she would accompany her account with actual recipes, or do actual tutorials. But her content is disingenuous because she’s showing a very unrealistic and curated video. And NO it’s not realistic for her either. It’s not for anyone. Because it’s not just about money. It’s about time. It takes way longer to make bread and cheese from scratch than admits to in her videos. She makes it look so easy and seamless which is just not how reality works.
She has paid helpers to take care of the kids and do most of the cooking and cleaning while she is professionally filmed “cooking from scratch” when it’s all a sham. You hit the nail on the head ; she is a model. In other words a poser! Not the real deal!
It’s all about selling products. It’s about her vanity and furthering the serious materialistic consumer culture which is bad for the environment.
Sorry if you are blind to what’s really going on but please don’t be so quick to assume people are hating. They care about the toxic world we live in. That doesn’t automatically mean we’re jealous or feel inferior. You can’t speak on how everyone feels. That’s just ignorant and arrogant.

Personally I am neutral towards this lady. She has style, class, and has a lot going for her. I think her channel is for shopaholics who appreciate asmr videos. Good for her that she found her niche. I just don’t appreciate the BS! I know how to make cheese from scratch and believe me, it takes longer than an hour to make your own cheese just for a ham and cheese toastie made from scratch.

As a part time stay at home girlfriend who does most of the cooking, and pretty much cooks every meal, this is realistic. I make almost everything from scratch, and once you get a hang of it, you get faster. Dishwasher Handles the biggest part of the clean up. And it truly isn't as bad as it looks. Good appliances and prepping makes everything go smoothly.
Stay at home girlfriend. Not a wife, pls tell you have money in a savings account or a back up plan. At least marriage provides some comfort if you divorce. Genuinely worried.

If you don’t do it everyday its not that hard. I’ve literally woken up to make a pink birthday cake for my hb grandma once while my hb and my now 4 yr old slept. I don’t think the cereal took all that long. I make sometimes pizza for my family and it does takes me hours with pauses in between in order to make it thin thin and soft. Its not that crazy what was shown here. A lot of stay at home moms do this. You only need to be organized and motivated and you need to like cooking of course. She definitely has help with editing though.

The op described her situation which is very understandable and the fact she’s not a morning person and I said I am, I love it, taking my time for my coffee in peace and quietness and then start doing sh💩t. To some might seem unrealistic for some it isn’t, that was my point.
My mom has worked all her life, at some point 2 jobs even, yet she would wake up few hours early every single day and cook lunch, dishes that took 1-2 hours and were fine to just heat up few minutes when someone wanted to eat, then she would leave for work. And it wasn’t even only my mom but every other women her age from where I’m from. So yeah no, try your arguments with someone else, waking up early to cook might not be for everyone and THAT’S FINE but it certainly isn’t some sci-fi action or unrealistic, it is very much realistic in particular for stay at home moms. Do I do it everyday? No, its a big deal once in a while for something more special? Not for me and I’m sure many others.

As someone who has is a gardener and has been studying plants tomatoes that are purple do exist and the color is 100% natural. Tomatos can come in all sorts of colors like green,yellow, and orange and of course purple as seen here 3:15

Also,To us in Europe these are normal tomatoes we have so so many differnet types of tomatoes green purple black yellow etc etc the same with broccoli coliflower etc

Hi here from Portugal. I dont Cook my pastas or bread from scratch but i do Cook all my meals from scratch: prep the ingredients to sauté ( in Portugal we sauté EVERYTHING even Rice), using chopped onions and garlic and Olive oil. If you Cook some steaks you season them (if you dont have to cut the meat yourself). And then fry them, the other week i love to make strogonoff so i use soy cream for food and make strogonoff sauce also from scratch cause i actually prefer my own. Any tomato sauce for pasta or stew i also use a tomato sauce that i season and usually add onions and garlic too; usually for most of my meals i take 40min to Over and hour almost every single day ( the big ones). In Portuguese households is very common to take over 30 mins to Cook the main meals even when people work full time, parents take turns and some teach their kids to cook Young because truly it takes time. It is just part of the culture.
@YaMother001 we don't make cereal from scratch because we don't eat cereal. we can eat it but we just don't prefer. in Turkiye we make breakfast and everything from scratch like menemen for breakfast. and then we just prepare some tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, olives etc for side. we're not rich but my mom makes her own bread, Turkish yogurt, pickles, jam and hoşaf (which is like a fruit juice but healthier with fruit pieces in it).

I like to cook things from scratch sometimes (mostly bread or pizza) bc i love cooking and also when i wanna eat something that either they don't sell where i live or it's way too expensive, but i do that as a 16 year old student in the weekend of a non busy week (usually i only have time and the ingredients for a mug cake)

If it takes you several hours to.make these meals it means you are the issue. A good cook can throw some of these out it 20 minutes. You don't have to sit their and stare at the oven as the bread bakes. You can go and do laundry or play a board game.

I was seven years old when I discovered that you could buy canned soup that you don't have to make from scratch and I was shocked lmao.
My parents are working class but we live in a country with over two years of paid maternity leave for each child and I'm the oldest, my mum was home for seven years of my life. My parents made I think 90% of all our meals from scratch. My mum even mare our bread and milled the flour herself in her kitchen grinder. She stopped doing that when she went back to work but my parents still cooked almost all our food. It really isn't that much effort, time or money to cook a good meal with fresh ingredients.
America is a country that lives on easy, quick and accessible goods including food which can be attributed to their hyper capitalistic environment, so for them time is the ultimate wealth, you have time to make bread from scratch so you are probably rich. So people(Americans) get triggered by stuff like this since they have to work a lot of hours to put food on the table, even if it is canned.
I have never in my life bought a canned soup either. But I don't think that would shock Americans... right?

In Austria (especially in Styria) we got a dessert called „Styrian ice cream“ which is basically Vanilla Ice topped with Pumpkin seed oil and it's actually really good. We normally use Pumpkin seed oil for salads.
