- Anfibio Omega C2, Two man packraft.
The Anfibio Omega C2 is the ultralight long-distance packraft for two or one paddler. Both on lakes and rivers the Omega C2 is in its element. It impresses with excellent directional stability, high speed and ample space for paddlers and luggage.
The Anfibio Omega C2 is a fully-fledged two-man canoe, but can also be paddled as a single. Due to its good handling characteristics, it is not only suitable for river trips, but also for still waters such as lakes and canals, while it is also very lightweight with just about 2kg per person. Depending on type of application and personal preference it can be used with both canoe paddle or kayak paddle. The Flexi-Seat-System always allows the right seating position. The name "C2" is based on the two-man canoe boat class of the competition discipline in canoeing.
The excellent straight running, which is already due to its length, can even be improved by using of one or two fins (one fin included in delivery). The mounts for these are already pre-mounted at the bow and the stern. The Anfibio Omega C2 is supplied with an extra large nylon inflation bag to fill the large air volume more quickly.
Typical applications
long distances on lakes, canals, rivers
coastal areas
tours with a lot of luggage
classic packrafting tours for two (combined tours on land and water)
Traveling with children
paddling with dogs
Geocaching (multi-caches, T5)
Fishing with a lot of equipment
Dinghy when sailing
Use with sail
Luggage transport
The Omega C2 offers enough space on the stern and the bow and four fixing points on each side to transport luggage. If the seats are fixed in the upper position there is also additional storage space under the seats. There are 12 lashing points in the interior for load securing.
For me, the Anfibio Omega C2 is a great piece of gear and although it doesn't get paddled as much as a single person packraft it is a brilliant packraft for short paddling trips or longer multi-day trips.

I got this packraft for about a year. I love it and would buy it again!
I'd love to try this packraft, but apparently Anfibio ships to everywhere but the U.S.
Have you asked them.
@@Vildmark Sent an RFI yesterday, no reply as of yet.
Yeah, they can't do U.S./Canadian shipping due to insurance. They did provide a potential workaround with some kind of alternate shipping service. I imagine buyer assumes all risk at that point though. Kind of ridiculous that they can ship to Iran "safely" but not the North American continent.
@@ryanbird5142 Did you buy one? Im in US too but like the idea of this raft.
@@curtisheyman4473 No sir, for the risk involved etc, im just getting the Alpacka Forager. Its a proven system, its made here and despite being a little more expensive at least I dont have to worry about it being lost in shipping between mainland Europe and the U.S. from a 3rd party mistake.
I'm considering if a packraft would be suitable for spearfishing. Would it be possible to get in and out of the water from the packraft without tipping it over?
It is possible
Where the hell do they come up with the pricing for these things? one thorn on the river bank is all it takes to destroy £800 plus of inflatable raft, its a pack raft, thin, flimsy, light weight material and air, and less material than can fill a backpack, stupid money and i think they are missing a trick, they would sell by the hundreds if they were affordable to everyone, you only have to look at the amount of kayaks, other inflatable canoes and small watercraft like sups on the rivers today to see that the water is a big appeal, for a family to be able to get a raft for each member of a family of five into the boot of their small hatchback would be a boon to the industry, but having to come up with 4 and a half grand in order for them to all get out on holiday on the water just is not going to happen, especially when the likes of intex sell a single person inflatable canoe for about a hundred quid, and they dont take up that much more space, the packraft company that comes up with a sensible price is going to be the company that survives long term, innovation on an old design doesnt cost £700 more than whats already available. one thing that cant be moaned about though are your reviews, straight forward, to the point, all the info you need to know about the product and most important being tested where it needs to be tested rather than in the back garden, superb as usual
The denier of the tpu is much stronger than the pvc used on a inflatable kayak. One thorn on the river wouldn’t destroy a packraft trust me I’ve pulled these three blackthorn loads of times, bounced of rocks whilst white water paddling and dragged bottom in shallow parts of the river.
I agree with you that they are expensive but you get what you pay for. These a lightweight, packable, reall strong and the tpu won’t breakdown with UV like pvc does over time.
You really get what you pay for, as I’ve said before to you a packraft is an investment and if it’s used regularly it’s worth the money.
It all depends really on what you need it for. If you’re going to be walking miles then you want something light compared to a bulky heavy pvc craft.
If your driving to your put in and don’t paddle all the time then a cheaper pvc kayak is probably more suited.
