- Thanks for joining me for a flip through my Half Letter discbound planner setup! I removed the rings from my Louis Vuitton GM Agenda and am loving my discbound planner system. I have designed the majority of my own printable inserts, and I share ideas for using them here and in my other videos. My goal is to always have an organized, functional planner, but I love to sprinkle in some stickers, too.

I currently use my HL discs as a financial planner and an EC Focus planner for my everyday planner. Seriously thinking about switching fully to HL discs for 2023.
Great video! I have been using half letter discs since December and I like the system. I’m still playing around with the best format to get me to use it more daily so have bought a few different layouts (I work in a crazy fast paced pr agency environment so it’s hard to plan ahead / prioritize when everything is “must do now” or getting shifted at all times, and I end up not staying consistent except with notes section and weekly/monthly overviews.
Yes I am using HL (TUL) system since I couldn’t find what inserts I like from a variety of different companies. But, for 2024 I will for sure do my shopping now so items aren’t sold out.
I really enjoy how clean and simple your planner is.

Really late to game to see this. But I’d like you to know that this makes SO MUCH sense to me. I am absolutely NOT a person who loves to buy inserts. I diy them ALOT. I have a small tn for a certain task but I’ve been looking for a separate one for my own personal stuffs now that I’m an analog person.

A5 for me but then I’m in the uk 🇬🇧 so just like you I can just cut a full sheet of paper in half with no waste 👍🏻 great setup ❤
Totally makes sense and that's the only reason I continue to offer A5. I'm hoping to switch all the US users to HL, haha, but I understand that internationals work better with A5.

I love my half letter for the same reasons. I also bought the Levenger punch because of the bigger “mushroom” punch. I got the heavy one and it cuts a big stack of papers like butter! Love the video! Thank you for sharing.

Yes, I love the Levenger punch as well -- definitely worth it! I have been in HL discs for over a year; switched over from HP classic size and it's much easier to transport!
Yes! That punch is what committed me to discs.. couldn’t stand them before I tried this because the papers never moved smoothly!
I love this video. This is exactly what I need for planner peace. I have ADD and I need minimal and functional otherwise I get way too overwhelmed. I like to add a pop of color with functional shape/word/icon stickers. The goal inserts are so great and I think I need to add them to my regular inserts.

Thanks for letting us look through your planner. So much info I’ll definitely watch a second time. I think the Inbox divider has a function, it’s a great space to place a few sticky notes if needed. My husbands routines used to irritate me and I liked to decide on the day what I’d do. As I’ve got older I definitely enjoy my morning routine but evenings are harder as my energy levels drop as does my motivation 😩

I’m the type that needs to research and test things to come to a conclusion or I’m like you, “I have my conspiracies theories.” I bought a TUL punch and a leverager (spelling) punch and it turns out the theories were right 😁 The leverager punch has a longer space in between the edge of the paper and the little mushroom, and the mushroom is just a little smaller. So, no need to go down the rabbit hole, you were right 😂

I love this setup. You gave me a couple of new ideas to explore. I love that pen! And the desk agenda doesn’t have a pen loop. Mine has a similar pocket setup in the front, but it’s the older version. I’m going to message you a divider option that might work for you.

Yes! I mean, I kind of stink at measuring round things, lol, but I double checked and yup! 1 inch!
Are you using A5 inserts? Just curious if a5 inserts fir nicely into a half letter cover.
I’m using half letter. It’s so close to A5 but so much easier to print/cut/punch then take in and out of my planner!
This is technically an A5 cover and the half letter fits nicely in it!
How did you get the .38 ink refills to fit in your .28 pen? Thank you
The refills themselves are the same size, it’s just the pen nib that is larger/smaller. 😊
@@plan2create Aw i bought them and they're huge and do not fit. I'll take another look and see if I am missing something lol Thank you :)
So one of the tricks I use is that JetPens always lists the compatible refills for their pens. So, I look up my pen body and see what refills will work inside it. There are at least a couple types of the Uni Jetstream refills so it can get confusing. I have a video about my favorite pens and I explain this better. :)
I've decided to start a disc set up for projects and my Levenger punch is in storage 😩

Hello. I REALLY enjoyed your video. Thank you for the links. The leopard dashboard is out of stock in the A5 Unpunched. Do you have unpunched or punched? I'm thinking to get the punched and once I "re-punch" with my half-letter discbound puncher, maybe it will fit?

If that's correct, I truly appreciate it...because I'm still kinda new to the "planning community" and I'm not always clear about the sizes that can work-together when it comes to dashboards and inserts.

Is the GM agenda more sturdier than the desk agenda?
I don’t have both so can’t totally compare but I think they’re about the same. The agenda has a pen loop and clasp which I like!
I am so inspired by how you have your planner. Is there a way you can advise on a personal level on how and what to buy? I want the minimalist look. I just have a lot to write on my to do’s etc. I don’t have IG to be able to contact you.
