My god... can we get a Bat-holmes and Lex luthor skit. Best batman and best lex!
You're half right lol
And the other half? ALSO RIGHT!
Talk about yer counterintuitive...
😂 Yessssssss!!!
That would be hilarious and have micheal play it straight like nothing weird is happening 😂😂
Omfg, YES^2
Michael as Lex on one of your Batman skits.
When Michael mentioned he was in Grease in HS and Pete said “Tell Me More”…… hilarious. But Michael didn’t seem to catch it. Cut to 45 mins later, Michael makes overt Grease reference and Pete has no idea what he’s talking about. They both independently made Grease jokes that the other didn’t get. And I just wanted to point that out.
Came here to point this out exactly. My brain can't comprehend that this all happened in the same episode. @Pete - seriously dude.
Awesome moment. 🤣
So excited for this episode! These two should work together more
Wow Michael’s impressions are awesome…and Sweet November is an amazing movie
Man… his story about staying at friends parents houses for extended times and his own parents not caring, just triggered a bunch of my own memories that I was apparently burying and ignoring. Damn.
I recently came to this epiphany as well. I also realized I was making friends based on how their parents treated me (I know, it sounds horrible). luckily, most of those friends became really good friends. still sucks though, knowing you used people like that 😕
Michael's podcast has a lot of insightful opportunities with his guests too!! He's a great interviewer ❤
@@cukeemonstersounds like it was unintentional at the time and you were just fulfilling a need without malice. Give yourself some grace ❤
We all have needs from our relationships, but just remember it's give and take.
Pete Holmes, you make my life a little brighter every week ❤
55:19 "Check the scent folder" is actually brilliant
Well this was magic boys..thank u for this. Made me cry.
Podcast both hilarious and very serious ♥️ Michael talks about everything very openlly 💙👌 i love hearing more about him ! And Pete you are good advice ❤ I enjoyed it ! ♥️
Lex Luthor from Smallville and Wally West/The Flash from the DCAU.😀
ROSEY!!
"We don't recognize your plight " - hilarious
Did a flappy hands dance when I saw this in my feed
I was a fan of Rosey's work for years, and then I started tuning in to his Inside of You podcast.
Seeing him being him, not just portraying a character, has made me a fan of Him (not just his work).
First time watching your channel. Love all the short form content. Cannot wait to dig into the long form. 🎉
36:04 "w' wa' wait, what does the manager say?"
"Don't worry about it!"
🤣🤣🤣
Loved this episode, funny through out and loved the whole conversation ❤
The line about becoming friends after you fight is so true. I got in fights with 3 people through elementary and middle school and became friends with all of them.
Probably the most GenX thing I've seen in a long time.
This was great. Thanks for the 2 hours MR
Sweet November is one of the greatest sad movies of all time.
Two of my favorites.
There's 2 kinda of girls. The ones with a crush on Tom Welling and ones with a crush on the sexy, interesting, sarcastic, guy with the actual personality...... No offense Tom lol
I'm too late to make a batman and lex comment... so I'll just say great work on the edit, Joe!
That background mural is as bubbly as Pete's personality.
I'm glad to know that I wasn't the only one who cold-called people to see if people wanted to do something. I would scour the phone book for last names of kids in school that I liked, and then call them and ask if they were there....and then ask if they wanted to stay all night...
Michael Rosenbaum is great and all but more importantly... Harvey Dent, can we trust him? 🤣
"You're garbage who kills for money."😂😂
It gets really real in the second half, and I loved every minute of it! ❤
Can anyone recommend the Alain De Button book or whatever he said that "spark" part. Very amazing interview! Came to laugh ended up learning a lot!
Can confirm Prince drove himself. Porsche. At least once.
Didn’t even realize how badly I need this crossover in my life
Awesome!!
In reference to the dead body story, my ex father in law was part of the RCMP (Canadian FBI) and were watching the movie ''Master & Commander''' at one point they have to cut a limb off and I believe they put sand or rice on the ground before starting to cut. I just mention out loud not necessarily to him, I say. That's odd putting that on the ground, wonder why?
He turns to look at me like I'm the biggest idiot and says ''Well it's so you don't slip on the ground because of a large amount of blood, duh!''
I turn to him and say, ''Norm, I've never experience walking on a large amount of blood on the ground, duh!''
I could see on his face, in his mind he said, ''oh yeah!'' lolll
His tone changed after that and went into stories of crime scenes, didn't really paid attention to the movie after that, think I saw the 1st 30 minutes of the movie.
His stories were more interesting.
What is this? A crossover episode?
I can't get past West Side Greasy Story and how desperately I wanna make this musical with Pete where no-one sings the correct lyrics and the dancing is all off !!! I am crying.
And you're not wrong - on stage in a musical it's the most fun - sitting in the audience - it better be dang good... but I am still crying laughing... the cop with the billy club and the tie our wrists... tears!!!
"pleasant and plump"
Ole Mrs Robinson knew exactly what she was doing.
super AWESOME Ep!!!!...Any chance of a holmes & Rosey podcast show???
My first and the best Lex Luthor)
I like him alot. A fun, outgoing and nice guy. And for the people who know him longer, he never misses a chance to shit on his parents.😄
Rosieeeeee 🌹
The 80’s and 90’s were great
Magic Hard Podcast!!
So I tried a magic mind the other day and it really did feel like it helped me focus. I was working and got a lot done
I saw a tv-edit of Pulp Fiction where Sam Jackson proclaimed that an affable pig would have to be one “charming mother friendly pig. Not like that arnold from green acres.” Why they tried airing pulp fiction on network tv is beyond me.
There’s something about a pod show host making a joke that gets ignored/steamrolled by the guest that I find funny/aggravating
So we have Batman and Lex Author and the first thing they talk about is frozen pizza? FROZEN PIZZA?
Sigh.
It's not DC. It's DiGiorno.
I’m with you Pete, Grease is the worst. 😩 Lean into “ Crybaby” with Johnny Depp. It’s so bad it’s good!
You two made it not weird.
It’s Other People’s People
6:30 I too, am a big fan of bewbs.
Weirdos lol
Pete Holmes would look amazing with Michael’s haircut style! Anyone agree? 😁
Michael Rosenbaum made it weird first by naming his podcast 'Inside of You'. I always thought that name had a weird sexual undertone.
That's the joke...
Rosenbaum. Sounds German.
You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. O is for "other" P is for "people scratchin' temple", the last P, well that's not that simple. It's sort of like another way to call a cat a kitten. It's five little letters that I'm missing here.
Have you noticed all the Kung fu movies with bruce Lee's name on it to get noticed? Bruce is famous, get your own fame! Lol 😅
God isn’t real Peter, I’m sure your whole act is satire
