- After the SandCrab Classic was cancelled, we were left to fish low tide windy conditions. Not the ideal conditions to break in a brand new phenix trifecta light.... Then the Van Staal Had issues... Thank God we acted on our instincts because it got crazy.

Had to look up the date of the Sand Crab Classic because it was giving me the heebie jeebies how close you were to everyone. And high fiving! I was doing the same back then man. Can’t wait for a vaccine so I can feel ok about hugs from friends again 😂 Anyway, another great video. Thanks!
LOL yes! The sand crab classic was on March 14 which was the day after the official lockdown so not as much information was out back then as there is now. And yes! That was such a fortunate wave that brought that fishing. Pretty much automatic. We’re just super happy that they are still allowing for fishing because we have some more cool content coming very soon since they canceled Sales As mandatory which is my 9 to 5.

Sick dude! When those surf smelt come in up here in the North it's almost a guaranteed hookup on stripers as well. Those surf smelt Beach themselves as they are spawning and the stripers are right in the first trough.
