The Mosin Crate: This is the ugliest Luger I've ever held in my hands, B grade Gunbroker: EXCELLENT condition, RARE Luger P08, starting bid $1300 buy it now $4000
5:45, that actually looks pretty cool with egyptian letters on the gun. gives it alot of character even if the value may not be there in the market. Very cool
I have a Mosin that appears unissued that has a 1917 date on the receiver as well as the russian crest and if I remember correctly the name Westinghouse-it’s been a while since I pulled it out. I’m assuming that was a contract gun that didn’t make the boat before the fall of the emperial house?
Could you tell us what the import situation is with guns from Canada? I know they passed a handgun ban. Are any of those guns going to the United States?
I'll start off by saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what;s one man's junk could be another man's treasure. To add to that, and this is just my personal opinion, I do not beloieve there is such a thing as a plain jane Garand. The beauty of that Garand is in it's history and character. The fact that it looks to be old, weather beaten and heavily used speaks for itself. If it was mine I'd make sure it was functional as in replacing the firing pin and springs, other wise I'd leave as is as a wall hanger-conversation piece. To alter or change in in any other way would be to take away from it's history. The weapon is like the man or men who carried it, it has already doe it's service and now deserves a long ahnd restful retirement just like the sildiers that carried it. I just turned 64 and remember about 35 years ago at a local dept store in the sporting goods secetion there were garands that grade for onpy 300, and m1 carbines for scant 160. Both today would be aroind 1500-2000. I am really turned off by people sporterizing any old rifle like this
@@TheMosinCrateall in a days work haha. Just helping to make sure customer is happy and and you don’t have to deal with the backlash if they’re not! I’m sure your list will sell out quick. Fair prices for sure

A while ago the Russians captured a mine that the Ukraine used for storing and repairing their fire arms,There was green crates about 30 ft high and maybe 70 ft long by 70 ft deep ,just a tidy mountain of these crates ,turns out they are Thompson Machine guns in oil paper and each has a sling and about 3 mags ,Lend lease USA from WW2 that were stored away looked like 10 guns to a crate ,and in the other corner there was same crates but longer and a smaller pile of f@#$ water cool Maxim machine guns 3 to a crate in a very greenish olive drab cool ,brand new same thing stenciled on the crate USA land lease program US Property lol amazing
Great, real great. I see a very angry wife in my future! ROFL. Wish Alden could smooth things over with our wives and girlfriends with his Southern Charm and buttery smooth voice. 😆
The type 38 is not the carbine version , it is a short rifle. It is kind of rare, you just don't see them that often.
Neat. I was looking at it thinking "it's not the rifle, but not the carbine". Always something new to learn. Thank you.

you forgot to add the "NICE!" at the very end of the title
That Ethiopian Luger would probably clean up real pretty. Fresh springs, sand, polish, reblue and bam.

Thanks for the work Alden! Very tempting batch.
Anytime you post6 a new list, I am tempted to ... YODEL!
Woo! was starting to get worried =) Glad to have some new content.
Was that checked luggage?
That was a good haul.

Wish I knew, I have not seen anything showing up from Canada.
@@TheMosinCrate I was just hoping we could get some Refugee gun migrants seeking amnesty. Lol🙆🏽♂️
The Canadians are destroying a ton of surplus Hi-Powers I heard - like over 3,000 of them.
Legacy Collectables has been importing a whole bunch of them. And selling them for about twice what they're worth...

SVT-40 * whimpers *
*HEAVY BREATHING*
Type 38 short rifle. Completely different model than a carbine.
Someone mentioned that earlier. Y'all are quick on the draw when I make any mistakes in a video lol..

Cool collection are they from WW2?
Some are, some are from WW1 or earlier. Anywhere from 1890s to the 1970s.

I really need to block this channel. All of these are too beautiful and I don’t have much cash.
First!
Why would you advertise your collection over the net? Nobody's business what you have.

You lucky dog
