Peru & Bala - National Tour 2013 - Opening segment

VIKASH MATHURA and RAY MAHARAJ created the characters of "Peru & Bala" for their radio show "The Weekend Lift Off" on Lotus FM in 1997. They went on to re-write the history books of the South African Entertainment Industry!
They took the characters to Stage and have performed in more than 800 shows to more than 3.5 million patrons! They have produced a Best Selling Book; 2 x Best Selling CD's and 4 x Best Selling DVD's. Their cartoon strips in newspapers and social media went viral around he world for 7 years. Four university dissertations were written by academics about their record-breaking feats.
This is the Opening segment of their character's performance at their sold-out National Tour in 2013. The tour also featured "Karou Charou"; "Harry Mama" and "Professor Payrelal".
