- UK's Foreign Secretary David Cameron has said that Ukraine has the right to use British weapons to attack targets inside Russia.
Lord Cameron, who has met President Zelensky during a visit to the country’s capital, Kyiv, said the UK would donate military aid worth £3 billion a year "for as long as is necessary".
He said British support would include precision-guided bombs and air defence missiles, which Ukraine could use as it saw fit.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky had previously said that Russia is taking advantage of the slow delivery of Western weapons to go on the offensive.

Definitely needs addressing. But the Tories don't care. They cut funding to so many things. They cut funding to rehab centres. The place that helped me get off heroin closed and the other one had to let half their staff go . The amount of people who lost a job then end up losing their house. The support for people like me who paid tens of thousands in taxes is just awful. They give you like 320 quid a month. I went the whole winter wrapped in blankets in a tiny studio flat with no food a lot of days. Thankfully I got a job agsin. But I was close to losing everything.

In this country, there is no excuse for any child poverty when we have a very generous welfare state. One can comfortably claim in benefits circa 32K a year with two kids, that is you would need to earn 32k a year gross to get the same amount of money as the benefits plus you get all the free dentistry etc. Anyone with kids not eating are simply bad parents, probably spending it all on themselves: Spoons every afternoon, drugs, sky tv, tabs, nailbar, botox, lip implants - then they go down the food bank saying they can't afford to feed the kids

Yes the NHS has been ruined by the Tories, but that is a separate issue to helping Ukraine, absolutely we should help them to resist the invasion by Russia, not just for them but also to stop Putin trying to take other East european countries.

If NHS budget cuts are due to a lack of money and now money is available for Ukraine, it would be easy to conclude that there is no real interest in ensuring the NHS runs well, with knock-on effects for the UK population.
