你一次過將所有寶貴的經驗精準地分享了,非常慷慨。👍👍👍💖
Just the kind of video I was searching for. I like how calm you're when explaining.
Thank you much for the production of this Gimbal Video explanation!!! The Production, explanation, footage, composition, etc is top notch Simon. This Video is Pure Gold. I can't even fathom how long it took you to edit in the cutting room!!!!!!! Once again, thank you and cheers from California from a beginner Gimbal and Drone Guy! Good day, Matthew
Loved the video Simon. Extremely informative, keep up the fantastic work!
This was helpful! We are planning a shoot in a mall, where we have two hours. I will keep my monopod attached all the time. Thank you, Simon, I learned a lot from you. Not just this video, I've been cramming! I really like the way you explain things.
Soo useful, have had a zhiyun sitting in a droor for almost 2 years because I did not know it's functions, you have answered so many questions in a few minutes, clear, funny and useful. this is one of the best tutorials I have seen. will follow and like. thanks so much
Got to say, this is brilliant. Bought my OM4 last year, and I have failed to progress with it. This has woke me up to what is possible to great some interesting and useful shots. Thank you 👍
This is my fourth "MM" video in a couple days. I've been shooting pictures as a hobby for a couple years now, and I feel like I've gained a ton of experience in the last 2 days as a result of your clear concise videos. The information contained within as well, as the overall production value are nothing short of inspiring as a "wanna-be" filmmaker and YT content creator. I will continue consuming these instructional videos as long as you continue making them sir. And if I ever encounter you in the real-world I would love to buy you a beer good sir. Thanks again for all your hard work.
Where can I purchase it?
Having bought a couple of gimbal stabilisers recently and added to them as I've worked out the limitations of the more basic models I've been watching some videos about gimbal operating with varying levels of helpfulness.
CZcams suggested this video which I thought at first might be a bit high level for the information I'm working with as a beginner but I've found this to be very helpful and in depth. Obviously I've liked and subscribed.
The amusing thing is that I want to make a video about the people listed on my local war memorial and thought my original video footage could be completed in a day - entirely possible if you want something quick and unspectacular - editing in other relevant photos and other shots later. We're in February at the moment but since I've looked into the cinematic effects that can be created with a gimbal I've extended the shooting timeline exponentially.
From originally thinking I could shoot, compose, research, edit and finally produce in two to three weeks I'm now quite prepared to extend the timeline up to early November.
The best gimbal tutorial on CZcams. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome video. Comprehensive and clear. Thank you for sharing the knowledge
An excellent straight-forward tutorial. Thank you.
Thank you, Mr Simon. Really needed this.
Mr.Apostle you always seem to impress us with knowledge!!!! Thank you
Very well put together, very informative. Cheers!
I have been fretting over the challenges of packing and lugging my full DSLR-Gimbal-Motion Control gear on a planned trip to Paris and London. As I will have my iPhone with me, I thought I'd investigate the possibility of lightening the load without lessening the quality of a travel video (just for fun) and, thankfully, I found your channel! BRAVO!! You have given me an entirely new view of shooting quality video with a minimum of gear (better on the back, the budget and easier to secure and protect from thieves!) So, I have just now subscribed to your channel and look forward to learning more from you. To be honest, I find your teaching-sharing style to be the most enjoyable I've found on CZcams! Well done. My sincere thanks and greetings from the USA!
Thank you Don! And welcome!
This is the best phone gimbal video I've seen. Thank you.
I watch all the advertisement in all of his videos. I am a newbie in using gimbal and this is very informative.
Great content! Thank you for all of your knowledge, hard work and dedication to your art. Just subbed!
17:01 yay bonus, I'm wheelchair bound, was main reason I brought the smooth 4, my plan was to find some sort of clamping mechanism where I could attach the gimbal to my chair via the tripod camera screw mount but have had no luck yet, I'm 99.9% on my own except dogs and fox rescues and would never allow anyone to push my chair anyway so is the perfect solution as need both hands to push my chair.
Ps I absolutely love your videos, you have taught me so much, just wish I had your smooth voice and confidence.
Big thankyou for your amazing videos and advise, honestly would not have known where to start without you.
if you have a standard chair with tubular steel arm rests, perhaps a motorcycle gopro mount and a gopro screw adapter will work for you.
Added bonus, all the little links for the gopro system make it easy to position your camera and lock out solidly in place. But be warned that while they might take the weight of a phone, a phone and gimbal might cause the links to loosen or droop.
@@nikytamayo I have no arm rests on mine only option I have is on frame, but I have titanium chair with quite a wide frame tried all my go pro mounts but not seen the motorcycle ones, will have a look thankyou.👍
@@Leehensman there are also table clamp mounts with screws for tripod bases that people use for product shots or mounting mics. mobile photography si such great fun, as all this hardware is a fraction of the price of what's needed for a camera!
Caveat emptor, some of the knobs on the cheaper ones strip easily!
@@nikytamayo thanks will check it out, one way or other I will find a solution.
Another great video!! This is super-helpful, as I am getting started using a gimbal with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Thanks so much for all that you do here on CZcams. I really appreciate your creativity, technical knowledge, and willingness to share both of them together with such well-planned and well-executed presentation!
Hi just wanted to know ..if ur facing any issues with s22 ultra..I'm planning to buy .. but thr are mixed reviews .. please help 🙏
Let me know which gimbal should I buy for my Samsung s 22

Hi Simon, thanks for this and all your other videos! I have learned so much from binging your channel the past few days! :)

Brilliant work ! Congratulations
Wow of all the videos that I watch on gimbal your video is THE BEST. Thank you for shooting a very comprehensive and professionally put together video on smartphone gimbal. I have already subscribed to your channel. Thank you ! Fan fr Singapore.
Excellent. This is what is called a professional advice. Thanks.
Nice explanation, thanks!
You have one of the dopest voiceover voices haha! Your delivery is the thing. Gives off an assuring vibe. Keep it going lol 🙏
Great tutorial thank you
Thank you from Türkiye. It's very helpful 💯👍👏🏻
Awesome! Now I know which one for me. Many thanks Saimon.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Greetings from Brazil.
finally i got the answer, the best gimbal for Android. thanks for sharing
Thank you,sir
Thank you!
Thank you, Geralt
Another awesome video! I can’t wait to order my Crane M3! I have my iPhone 13 pro and my moment lenses just came! Thanks Simon you’re such an inspiration! 😊
Please share with us how that works for you. Be interested to know if you can get your iPhone to balance in the gimbal with the lenses and/or filters on it. What made you select the Crane 3? Was it the gimbal video put out by the guys at Moment lenses? They found that with lenses on the iPhone it was near impossible to balance the entire rig in a popular handheld gimbal. Plus, the rig then exceeded the payload limit of the gimbal. Bummer. I really wanted to buy one of these devices, but I want to use it with lenses and filters.
@@johne1599 the Crane M3 is a Hybrid Gimbal and it can handle all of the weight of your phone plus lenses and filters all at once. Since it’s a hybrid Gimbal it can also handle the weight of DSLR cameras as well! It’s well worth it. A little pricey, but I’m buying it regardless of price because I want something that can handle alot of weight and still give me great quality video. Simon did a video on the Crane M3! Here is the link to his video! czcams.com/video/BL5GOfgSlWM/video.html
Perfect Video. Thanks a lot👍🍻😎
Great video!
Thanks for this video. very useful for someone starting out. :)
Informative information mate!....Liked & Subscribed!
Amazing and really useful information and the way you explained things is really make it so exciting for me to start shooting some videos❤
Thanks a lot for your explanation. From Indonesia
Really I enjoyed it and it's worth it
Thanks for sharing man :)
my compliments for the video, I'm starting as CZcamsr and you are very professional and with very good rhythm 👏🏻
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Awesome video!
Excellent video, thank you 🙏 ………
Nice
Thanks you for sharing
Excellent!
I decided to make my vlog, and this channel helped me on my new journey😁
That's awesome!
Thanks a lot for your guides.
You've solved a question that I've had for years. There's a mid 90s hip hop music video for a song called "93 til Infinity" by a group called the Souls Of Mischief. I always thought there was a cool effect that I was confused how it was achieved. It's the vertigo shot!
Thank you!
Great video. I am using a Crane m3. However I am wondering if you are disabling image stabilization in Filmic Pro while using an anamorphic lens? I have the impression that it is smoother on the gimbal but sometimes seems to wobble a bit horizontally.
OK! I had made up my mind about which gimbal I was going to buy the DJI and I have watched many of your videos about gimbals. After watching this video my head is about to explode now I’m back to square one and really don’t know which one I need lol. Love your videos looking forward to the next one and maybe by then I will have a gimbal in my shopping cart.
Just bought the Zhiyun smooth 5 combo kit ;-0
@@miketheweaver923 have you been happy with the Smooth 5?
I'm really excited about gimbals . . . I need to steady my video . . . About to buy . . . Thanks . . .
Very good
Oh wow good video but why nothing about control over focusing and DoF? Is there is any solution on using wheel on gimbal to rack focus?
Smartphone gimbal is very useful, thanks for the review sir 👍
Great.....🙂👍
I could sleep to this. And good info!
Hello , I have two question 1 which gimbal is having inbuilt charging facility through gimbal battery for android smartphone 2 suggest a gimbal which can be used with Sony A73 with kit lens as well as
android smartphones.Thanks
lol 18:06 Kingsmead Cricket Ground in Durban SA, I was probably at that game, nice. Great Vid BTW
You should do voice overs. Or meditation tapes. Your voice is awesome!
Great sharing video. I learn so many from this video. Big LIKE and greeting from Singapore
Thank you! Cheers!
Well done.
Thank you Simon for a very interesting and informative video. I really enjoyed this video. One of the things I wanted to know about was the 'smoothness' of the joystick operation. For example: on the basic Mavic Mini Drone I was surprised to find that with updated firmware, the lens Gimbal's up and down pan could be tweaked to perform a very smooth operation even if you 'snatch' at the thumbwheel that operates the up and down pan of the camera. You can adjust how this works in the Drone's software settings. kind a delayed vertical pan-initiation with delayed pan-stop. Does something similar exist for Phone Camera Gimbals? One where the Gimbal's software can 'ease-in' and ease-out of both horizontal and vertical pan shots. I was wondering which gimbal you think has the smother joystick function. Once again, thank you for an enjoyable video.
Awesome
Hi. . Please let me know does the samsung s22 ultra is supported by dji om 5.. wht are the limitations 🙏
Great insight into using smart phone gimbals - thanks!
I'm hoping to replace my (several) GoPro's with just the OM5 and my Pixel 6 - do you think that this is feasible? (I tend to use the GoPros for my boat videos (external and internal walk throughs)
I would love to get this one day day
A little bit irrelevant question but what is the motorized slider that I can get while using my IPhone as the camera. It seems that most expected you to use your IPhone as the app controller and use a regular camera as the device on the slider. I want to use my IPhone on the slider and still have it motorized.
Loved the comprehensive information provided in this video. Loved the locations which you have shown in this video. Being a Londoner myself, I am wondering which UK village/town is that, or is it even UK?
Very clear explanation...what gimbal can you re ommend sir to handle both smartphone and action cam...thanks in advance...your new subscriber here from the Philippines
Simon you are amazing
you too
What an AMAZING video! Thank you so much! Do you have any video about tips for real estate content?
The is brilliant. Informative but not at all padded-out. Can you imagine if all CZcams "Guide to" video's were of this quality?
Your videos are always so good man. Love how you explain things and your voice is so calming and engaging. Do you know if there is any gimbal out there suitable for smartphones like iPhone 13 Pro Max with accessories (e.g VND) that can also support full frame cameras like Sony a7IV with a 1.4f 35mm GM lens?
thanks. I'm not very knowledgeable on regular cameras as I don't own any. But if the Zhiyun Crane M3 can't handle a a7IV with a 1.4f 35mm GM lens then you might need to get a full DSLR size gimbal and use a mounting clamp on it for smartphones
I am about ready to get a smooth 5 with a mono pod and moment 67 mm filter mount along with a variable ND and most filter.
That should get me well on my way to filming.
I have an IPhone 12 max pro.
it's a nice setup
Do you know of a gimbal that would be able to first handle a galaxy s22 ultra and then a camcorder such as the panasonic x2000? I'm using my phone now but considering a camcorder for the optical zoom. I'd like to be able to switch back and forth if need be. Thanks for any help you can provide me.
do the 4th axis adapters for the osmo 6 actually help with running shots?
Thanks for a great video! Is the Zhiyun Smooth 5 compatible with Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G?
It was great and interesting
I want to start velog which one is better Dji handled paket or like these gimbals please inform me.
Nice video Simon! What pro app for filming are you using?
How do you manage the slow motion. In your examples is very smooth. Did you do it in post? (how) Or do you shoot in slow motion mode via Mimo? Thanks
Channel good mr 😀😀😀
Hello Sir,
what gimbal is better?
Zhiyun Crane M2 or DJI OM6?
Thanks
