The difference is, anything 1986 to 2021 is Type 1 (eagle with shield and stars design) from 2021 onwards is Type 2 (flying eagle with branch design) They overlap in 2021 so you can get both Type 1 and Type 2 in the same year. Similar to the Britannias in 2023 where you have both QEII and KCIII. Hope this helps 😊👍🏽
