I'm so glad other people are starting to notice that there's online trends and irl trends and that they can be really really different. Just last year when I'd mention that to my friends they'd be like nah lol what's trend is a trend. But like I'd say that seeing even 60% of what people claim to be trending online irl is a bit of a stretch.
you really hit it right on the nose! i do agree a lot of the things we see online don’t really transcribe into our daily lives
I also feel like irl (in sydney at least) its something between what's comfortable, versatile, easy to style & looks put together. Fashion girlies be running through trends so quickly but irl not everyone is wanting to revamp their style every other month nor have the budget to.
oh that’s cool, i’d love to see how yall get down in sydney! yeah with tiktok especially the fashion cycle is cooked! trends would last months to a year now it’s weeks and it’s getting scary

I’m from and live in the Bahamas, and I definitely do not see people wearing stuff that’s online here. I love the stuff I see online, like the long jorts, stacked necklaces, pointy kitten heels, lots of rings and wear I them in real life.😜😜 I even have some tabi shoes, which gets a lot of comments 🙈 But I like what I like and I’m going to be me. I can tell you are the same. I also do NOT like skinny jeans😂😂😂
