Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragons are like the only two animated series where the sequels weren’t horrible and actually positively added to the story

I believe, that is why Po was declared the dragon warrior, while everybody else, Shifu, the Furious Five, Kai, Tai Long, Shen, Master Krok and Master Rhino, every Kung Fu practitioner considered Kung Fu to be a duty, privilege, right or responsibility. Only Po genuinely holds love and passion for Kung Fu. Even as the greatest celebrated Kung Fu warrior, even when he is facing certain death, he still is just a fanboy constantly geeking out about stuff.

This is another movie dealing with real issues. If adopted children have a chance to reconnect with their biological parents they shouldn't ignore the ones that raised them. And the adopted/biological parents should find away to work out any problems they have if they truly love the child. Also if you've been a student of anything, and are given the opportunity to teach you should not try to do exactly what your teacher did. Everyone has their own way of teaching and learning. You have to find the way that's best for you in whatever you do in life. And encourage others to do the same. Side note I love how they connected everything from the previous 2 movies into this one. Makes solid story telling. Heard their still planning to make 3 more stories. If they do, I hope they don't ruin kung fu panda.

i definitely saw the romantic vibes, but i kinda like they kept it platonic, kind of reaffirming that guys and girls can just be good friends, tho i can definitely see them maybe getting together later on off-screen further down the line. like olivia said above, it flipped it on it's head a bit as tigress was the one who hated po the most in the first movie, so it was nice seeing her turn around and be the one most worried for his safety and the one of the five he's the closest to in the end.

Kai and Oogway were brothers in arms. It was mentioned in the movie.
Can we also appreciate how original kai's villain soundtrack is? It always gives me goosebumps all over. It's a little bit cheerful for a villain soundtrack but it contains a tone of caution and warning that tells you that he's a force to be reckoned with especially when they gradually sped the notes up.
On regards the Tigress romance..
I believe the signs were always there, and it was always teased.
I would by cool with it, mostly for the pay-off aspect of that previous teasing, but also I like that they decided not to show it in this movie. It just wasn't the main theme of the movie, and that subplot could have probably ended up undermining the rest.
Also if Po and Tigress end up together at some point, either behind the scenes, or in some type of short, or whatever, I would be cool with it. I can see them together very easily... but I don't think that I NEED to know specifically HOW it happens in the exact moment it happens, y'know what I mean?

11:28 - "ku ku" and "shui shui" little panda names: ku in chinese means "to cry", so i'm guessing that one is named "ku ku" because it likes to cry. and shui is "water", maybe that one likes water.
I always really liked how everything worked there and how sophisticated it was. When you take someone's chi and die, their chi returns to them. A lot of people didn't understand how Kai died, Po's chi didn't destroy him, but the fact that he was wearing a lot of them. Of course, you can take chi from a dragon warrior, but it's so strong that it's like wearing 10 of them, and if you wear some at that time and there are enough of them, it will destroy you. For example, some people don't understand how Jindiao in Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny could have so much chi without dying. It was because he was an ancient being and could own as much chi as he wanted, along with Po's chi. He was a dragon, so it's no wonder, dragons are magical and very powerful, and it was also because Jindiao was the first dragon warrior.
I was a little disappointed in this movie strictly because I never got to see that sweet Tigress romance. You can't tease it THAT HARD in the second movie and then just drop it off the face of the earth.

@@oliviarogers3559 On a real note, I agree with everything you mentioned. I don't think what I wanted from the third movie was to see a romance form between the two, but rather a continuation or build of that care between the two that was displayed in the second movie. Just getting to see their closeness continue to thrive would've been really nice. Whether or not it was in a romantic sense, Her and Po's chemistry is what fuled a good handful of moments in the second movie through the last few scenes. To almost completely remove it from the third was a little bit of a shock to me, aside from the 'Tigress Warns Po' scene, which I greatly enjoyed.
The commentary on this one was hella funny 🤣
And i agree, this was the weakest of the trilogy since it was much more on its silly side unlike the second and first where there were emotional breakdowns (Tai Lung-Shifu, Po-Shen). But despite being the weakest, it was still a good movie, just not on par with the first two.
Dreamworks really did a great job with this trilogy.
This was such a good movie you should watch more old animated Disney and Pixar movies like the lion king and the little mermaid,inside out and finding Nemo
They're actually brothers-in-arms, they already mentioned it earlier in the movie when they were unrolling the scroll
THis triology was so good! I remember when the first one came out, and my friend and I had a dance party to the song they connected to it, it was super fun.
If you're taking suggestions, I'd like to see you react to Rise of the Guardians, I think you'd really enjoy it. It actually takes place around Easter, so if it's not like, too short notice, maybe an option!
Knowing that Po’s dad is voiced by Bryan Cranston, I would’ve lowkey loved if he came up to Po at some point and was like “Po.... let’s cook!”
I came for the DreamWorks movies and I’ll stay for whatever comes next ;)

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this movie. It's decnt-ish in my opinion.
However, given the overall way this movie went and my feelings about it compared to the first two movies in the Kung Fu Panda trilogy, I would say that this movie isn't terrible or even mediocre, but it's definitely a step down in overall quality compared to the first two movies, mainly in terms of plot narrative and storytelling quality in particular.
I will hand it to Dreamworks though for them delivering on the visuals in this movie.
The Kung Fu Panda trilogy is my favorite and Po is my idol ( sounds weird ). and I will never love a character and a trilogy as much as I love KFP :D
